Dear ACA Parents,
The Third Quarter is already history which means there are only nine more weeks of school and the 2007-2008 school year will also be history. It has been a good year and has passed very rapidly.
Re-enrollment Please re-enroll your student before the end of March, if possible, so we can reserve a spot in the class for them. Early re-enrollment helps us know how to get next year’s classes scheduled. Re-enrollment forms and FACTS tuition payment forms have been mailed out. Remember that if you would like the monthly payment plan, you must complete a FACTS form. Contact Becki in the school office if you have questions about the FACTS form. Our Open Houses have been well attended and we are looking for increased enrollment for 2008-2009, but we want to make sure our present families have secured their place in their classes.
Spring Break Next week, Easter week, is also our Spring Break, March 17 – 21. We pray that everyone will have a safe and enjoyable break and return ready to dig in for the few remaining weeks of school.
“The Music Man” Tickets are now on sale for “The Music Man” performances on April 3 – 6. This looks to be an excellent production! April 3rd is Opening Night with Hors D’oeuvres and dessert. Tickets are $20 for adults and $12 for students for Opening Night. April 4 & 5 are Dinner Theaters and tickets are $20. The menu is “River City 4th of July Picnic”: Fried chicken, potato salad, baked beans, rolls, peach cobbler or apple pie, and beverage. April 6th is the Sunday Matinee with tickets at $8 for adults and $6 for students. This would be an excellent opportunity to invite prospective families to see ACA at its best. I hope each performance will be sold out!
Upcoming Events:
Open Houses: We have scheduled three additional Open House times. April 14th: 6:30-8:30 p.m. April 16th: 1:00-4:00 p.m. April 23: 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Americana Day: Saturday, April 19th. This is a school day for ALL ACA students as a make up day from the December ice storm. We already have some great silent auction items plus wonderful exhibits showcasing native Americans, sports, music, inventors, etc. You will want to invite your family and friends to join you in coming to Americana Day!
Grammar School testing: The week of April 28 – May 2 our Grammar school classes will be doing their standardized testing.
Science Fair: Monday, May 5th, 6:00 p.m. Our auditorium will be filled with science projects done by our Grammar, Dialectic, and Rhetoric students. Plan to come!
We are looking forward to a great Fourth Quarter. Blessings to you and your family.
Sincerely,
Larry J. Ehrlich, D. Phil. Administrator
