EVENING GRAIL BALL EXHIBITION

On Thursday, March 15th, at 6:30 in the evening there will be a Grail Ball Exhibition in the SAA auditorium. This event is for everyone who has always wondered what Grail Ball is and why we play. Parents and friends are welcome to come and watch! Girl's teams will play first, followed by the men's competion. Come and cheer for your favorite House!

WORLDVIEW ACADEMY

Our March Worldview Academy will be held on Tuesday evening, March 13th. Please note that this is a change in date! We have the opportunity to hear Mr. Daniel New, the father of Michael New (the young man who was discharged from the US Army for refusing to wear a United Nations uniform). Mr. New is an excellent speaker and we are looking forward to hearing about his son's stand and the result of it. Rhetoric students are encouraged to attend!

CLASS TRIPS

Our seniors left this morning on their class trip to New Mexico. They will be returning next Monday. Pray with us that they have a safe trip. The 6th graders and Physical Science class will be going to the Omniplex in Oklahoma City on Friday, March 16th. The weekend of April 20-22 the 7th & 8th graders will be taking their trip to Nashville to see the Parthenon and Belle Meade Plantation.

YEARBOOK ADVERTISING

Businesses are welcome to advertise, and parents of students graduating from one of our schools are encouraged to put in an ad of congratulations. Advertising forms are available in the school office.

SPRING PORTRAIT DAY

Wednesday, March 28th is our spring portrait day. The photographer will begin at 8:00 a.m. Students may wear regular clothing for their portrait, but must bring their school uniform to change into after having their picture taken.

COMMUNITY CLUB AWARDS

Thank you to everyone who is participating in our Community Club Awards program! SAA was in the top ten again for the most recent turn-in day! Being in the top ten earns additional money for our school! You can help by simply turning in your receipts from Quik Trip (ask for an itemized receipt), McDonalds, Wal-Mart groceries, and Yale Cleaners; and proofs of purchase from Hiland Dairy products and other participating companies as listed in the 2007 CCA Buyers Guide. Pick up your guide in the school office and drop your receipts in the Golden Garbage container located right inside the office door. You do not have to spend any extra money - just remember to bring us your receipts! Our next turn in date is Monday, March 12th, so bring your receipts this week!
