WIZARD OF OZ FAMILY FUN NIGHT THIS FRIDAY
You still have time to purchase tickets for this great night of fun! Tickets are $6 per person with a maximum of $24 per family. Come out for great food from our Emerald City Concessions Stand, great entertainment on the big screen as we watch the Wizard of Oz, great fun singing-a-along to all the lyrics, great prizes for best look-a-like costume and most creative costume AND best Jitterbug Dance couple. AND don’t forget, the first 125 people in attendance with pre-purchased tickets will receive a Yellow Brick Road Survival Bag, which contains lots of fun items. Hope to see you all Friday Night!

Please return to the school office or Mrs. Post by end of day Thursday ALL Wizard of Oz ticket money and Sold Ticket Form and any unsold tickets. Hopefully, we will not have many unsold tickets! ☺ Unsold tickets NOT returned by Thursday WILL be charged to you. Remember: the Wizard of Oz Fun Nights proceeds will help off set the additional costume expenses for our production of The Nutcracker. Please help support our fun-raiser!
AN EVENING WITH MART GREEN
ACA’s annual fall banquet is on Friday, November 6th, at 6:30 p.m. at the Renaissance Hotel. Our special speaker for the evening will be Mr. Mart Green, chairman of the Board of Trustees at Oral Roberts University and the owner of the Mardel and Hobby Lobby chains. He was the founder of Bearing Fruit Communications, which produced the movie “Beyond the Gates of Splendor”, and he was also the founder of “Every Tribe Entertainment” which produced the movie “The End of the Spear”. Entertainment during the evening will be provided by ACA students. Mark the date on your calendar now! **Tickets are NOW on sale in the school office and HERE. Tickets cost $25 per person, or a reserved table for eight for $200.
SLAVE LABOR
Do you need some extra hands to get a project done? Need help cleaning out your garage or attic, or maybe raking leaves? The ACA juniors and seniors are willing to be your “slave” to help raise money for their spring trip to the Eastern Seaboard. If you are interested in securing one or even up to ten slaves, please contact Rhonda Morgan at morganfamily@sbcglobal.net or 492-5519. We have juniors and seniors that are willing to work for you!
REPORT CARDS
First quarter report cards will be handed out this Friday, October 23rd at the end of the day. Part-time students may pick up their report cards next week in the office.
NOVEMBER LUNCH ORDERS
Lunch order forms for the month of November are now available in the school office or by clicking HERE. If you are ordering for the month, please turn in your order form and payment by Friday, October 30th.
PARTNERS IN PRAYER
Augustine Christian Academy needs to be under girded in prayer. There are a group of us who meet to pray for our teachers and staff, our students, our families, the finances, and the activities of this school. We know that many of you (hopefully all of you) pray at home for Augustine, but we would like to invite those who can, to join with us in corporate prayer. The prayer team meets in the lunch room area, on Thursdays from 12:45 - 1:30 prompt. If you need more information, call Lorraine Roderick at 760-7609. Feel free to come when you can!
