SPECIAL CHAPEL CELEBRATIONS
The next three Mondays we will be having very special chapel celebrations! October 12th we will have displays from several different countries for World Cultures Day. On October 19th, we will have a speaker from Voice of the Martyrs, and on October 26th we will have missionaries from Indonesia. Parents are welcome to attend any of these special celebration times!
DIRECTORIES AVAILABLE
ACA school directories are now available in the school office.
ILLNESS PROCEDURES
Parents: Please remind your students about the importance of hand washing and covering their mouths when coughing or sneezing. Remind them that they should not share food or beverages with their friends. If your student is sick, please keep them at home, especially if they are coughing, sneezing, throwing up, or have a fever. We will call and ask you to come to the school and pick up a student who is throwing up or has a fever. Students should be fever free for a minimum of 24 hours (without fever reducing medication) before returning to school.
PARTNERS IN PRAYER
Augustine Christian Academy, in order to accomplish all of its purposes, needs to be under girded in prayer. There are a group of us (a very small group at this time) who meet to pray for our teachers and staff, our students, our families, the finances, and the activities of this school. We know that many of you (hopefully all of you) pray at home for Augustine, but we would like to invite those who can, to join with us in corporate prayer. The prayer team meets in the lunch room area, on Thursdays from 12:45 - 1:30 prompt. If you need more information, call Lorraine Roderick at 760-7609. Feel free to come when you can!
