Get your tickets now to attend the Annual Fall Banquet on Friday, November 3rd. Join us as we celebrate our 10th year! The banquet will be held at the Allen Chapman Activities Center on the TU campus. Tickets are $25 per person ($200 per table) and are available in the school office until November 1st. Bring your extended family, friends, and co-workers to the banquet with you! We are especially encouraging our alumni to attend this celebration.
Final Friday Spirit Wear Day
This Friday is the final Friday in October and will be Spirit Wear Day for the entire school. No spirit wear coupon is necessary!
November Lunch Menus
Lunch menus for the month of November are attached to the Charger today. Please note that this menu includes October 30-31 and December 1. If you are ordering for the month, please return your form to the office with payment by Monday morning.

Report Cards
Report cards will be sent home with students this Friday, October 27th. Parents: ask to see your student's report card!
School Directory
A school directory is now available in the office. We are happy to provide one copy to each family. Additional copies are $1.00.
Parking Lot Etiquette
ATTENTION PARENTS AND STUDENT DRIVERS: Please enter the SAA parking lot from 30th Street. Do not stop to drop off a student in the driveway, but continue around the building to the rear parking lot to drop off your student in the mornings. Stopping in the driveway causes traffic to back up behind you on 30th St. Please exit the parking lot onto Sheridan Ave. by the Sherwin Williams building. After school, students should be picked up in back of the building. If your student is not outside when you arrive, please park in a parking space to wait for them. Please do not park in the "pick up" lane while waiting for your students. Please call the school office if you have any questions concerning this "drop off" and "pick up" procedure.
Explore Test
On Wednesday, November 8 all 8th graders and any 9th graders new to SAA will be taking the EXPLORE test. This test is one of the acceptable reading tests for an Oklahoma driver's license. Don't be late, it will begin at 8:00 a.m.
Football Tickets
Attorney Lee Levinson has given us over 35 tickets to the Tulsa Golden Hurriane football game against UTEP this Friday evening at Skelly Stadium. If you would be available for this game and able to use some tickets, please see Becki in the school office. First come, first served.
Grandparent's Day
Our annual Grandparents Day program will be held on Wednesday, November 22. There will be refreshments, a special program, and visits to the classrooms. Plan now to invite grandparents and special "grandfriends" to attend. Parents, aunts, and uncles are also welcome! School will be dismissed at noon that day (following the program) for our Thanksgiving break.
Volunteer Opportunity
Our Grammar School teachers are seeking volunteers who would be willing to come in once a month at lunch and recess time to watch their classes for that hour. This would give our teachers an opportunity to have lunch together and fellowship in a quieter atmosphere. If you are available from 11:25 - 12:30 and would be willing to do this once a month, please contact the school office or any Grammar school teacher.
