A FESTIVE CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

An all-school Christmas program including carols, candlelight, recitations, drama, instrumentalists, and more presented by the talented students and parents of ACA will be held on Friday, December 4th, at Will Rogers United Methodist Church (11th and Yale). Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. All ACA students will be participating in the program and students should plan to be there right at 6:30 when the doors open. We will be asking for volunteers to bring cookies to this event. A special offering will be received to bless our teachers and staff at Christmas. Plan to come worship, and enjoy the festivities, fellowship, and refreshments.

LAKEWOOD CARE CENTER CHRISTMAS GIFTS

This Christmas we are making cards, taking pictures of our students, and collecting donations for skid-resistant socks for each of the residents at Lakewood Care Center. Each House and Grammar class will be collecting donations for the gift distribution. On Tuesday, December 15th, our Grammar classes will be going to the care center to present a program and give out the gifts. Parents are welcome to go along. The glow on the residents’ faces when we hand out their gifts is just priceless. Thank you for helping with this ministry!

ACA HAS TALENT

Several of our very talented ACA students will be showcased in community productions this Christmas season. Call 918-587-5030 for ticket information. Sisters Calley and Courtney Skalnik will be in the Tulsa Ballet’s performances of “The Nutcracker” December 12th – 20th. DECEMBER LUNCH ORDERS

The lunch order forms for December are now available in the school office or “HERE”. If you are ordering for the month, the order forms and payment are due in the office by next Wednesday, November 25th.

DROP OFF AND PICK UP PROCEDURE

Please DO NOT STOP IN THE DRIVEWAY to drop off or pick up your students. This blocks the driveway and causes traffic to back up onto 30th Street. We have had one accident happen already because someone stopped in the driveway to drop off a student. Drop off and pick up is in the back of the building. Please pull into a parking space or drive around to the back of the building.

WHO DO YOU “GOODSEARCH” FOR?

Earn money for ACA by using Goodsearch instead of Yahoo or Google! It’s simple to use, and allows ACA to earn money, just by people using the search engine. Go to www.goodsearch.com and designate your charity - type in Augustine Christian Academy and click on “Verify”. You can even make it your home page so it is easy to use and if you use coupons printed from Goodsearch, ACA earns money from those too. Check it out!
