We Believe

Thank you to everyone who attended the banquet and helped make it a memorable evening. The alumni and parent speakers were incredible, the music was wonderful, the new DVD and web site are inspiring! Check out the new web site yourself, go to: http://www.staugustineacademy.org. The promotional DVD will be available for distribution sometime after the first of the year. A HUGE THANK YOU to Mrs. Claudia Walthall and her committee for organizing the banquet. Watch your mail for Dr. Ehrlich's letter to find out how much was raised.

Worldview Academy

Parents, you need to attend the Worldview Academy Monday, Nov. 13th. The topic will be "Teaching a Biblical View of Human Sexuality" taught by Dr. Roger Boatwright. The session will begin at 7:00 p.m. High school students are welcome to attend with their parents.

Tickets for "Scrooge - the Musical"

Tickets are on sale now in the school office! You will not want to miss this Christmas production at SAA. Get your tickets early, before the performance you want to attend is sold out. Call 832-4600 for performance times and ticket prices. Posters for advertising are available in the office.

Grandparents Day

Our annual Grandparents Day program will be held on Wednesday, November 22. There will be refreshments, a special program, and visits to the classrooms. Plan now to invite grandparents and special "grandfriends" to attend. Parents, aunts, and uncles are also welcome! School will be dismissed at noon that day (following the program) for our Thanksgiving break. There will not be after school care available, so please make arrangements to pick your students up at noon.

"Scrooge" Set Work Days

The next two Saturdays, November 11 & 18, will be work days for building the set of "Scrooge." Many hands are needed - no experience necessary. If you can donate a few hours, please join us! Parents, friends, and students are welcome!

Items Needed

The Music/Drama department is in desperate need of clothing racks for the MANY costumes in "Scrooge." A contribution of $70 will purchase a heavy duty rack that will last for many years! You can leave your tax deductible contribution in the school office, if you would like to help in this way. The school is also in need of vacuum cleaners that are in good repair. If you have an extra working vacuum that you can spare, think about bringing it to SAA.

Campbells Labels & Boxtops for Education

Please continue bringing in your labels and boxtops! Turn them in to the school office. SAA can redeem these for items the school can use. Please note: Campbells now requires the UPC code part of the label instead of the front of the label. Many, many products have the Boxtops for Education and Campbells Labels for Education - watch for them when you shop!
