DISNEY’S “BEAUTY & THE BEAST”
ALL PERFORMANCES ARE SOLD OUT. This is a great “problem” to have! If you have tickets that you are not able to use, please bring them back to the office. We have a few people still needing tickets. All seating is “first come, first serve” general admission seating (with the exception of those who attend the Tea Party on Saturday). Doors open 45 minutes prior to performance time. All performances will be held in the auditorium of Augustine Christian Academy.
ENCHANTED OPEN HOUSE
On Tuesday, April 21, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. ACA will be hosting an Enchanted Open House with an emphasis on Grammar School grades. Enchanted characters from “Beauty & the Beast” will be on hand to greet younger visitors! Invite your friends with younger children to attend this Open House to learn more about the ACA opportunities for Grammar School students.
OKLAHOMA LAND RUN DAY
Our Grammar School students will be celebrating the Oklahoma Land Run on Wednesday, April 22nd. Students may wear prairie style/settler style clothing that day. The 4th & 5th graders will be presenting a play about the land run at 10:45 a.m. and the students will then be staking out their land to have a place to eat their lunch. Volunteers are needed to bake cookies for their celebration. If you can bake a couple dozen cookies, please contact Mrs. Weir at 832-4600.
YEARBOOKS
2009 yearbooks are still for sale, but the early bird price is now over! The cost is now $35 per book. You can order on-line from this website or in the school office. The yearbooks will arrive in August and will be a complete record of this current school year. You will definitely want this hardback, full color yearbook, so order your copy now.
DIALECTIC TRIP
If your student is going on the Tennessee trip April 24-26, please remember that the payment is due the week of the trip. Junior High students not going to Tennessee will not have classes that Friday, April 24th, and all Junior High students do not have school on Monday, April 27th. Please contact Mrs. Miller if you have any questions.
FIVE WEEK PROGRESS REPORTS
Progress reports will be distributed to students this Friday, April 18th.
TALENT SHOW
Do you have a hidden talent? Do you sing only in the shower or play your harmonica only in your bedroom? Can you act, sing, dance, juggle or play an instrument??? The Class of 2009 is sponsoring a Talent Show on Friday evening, May 1st at 7:00 p.m. and they want you to perform! Adults can attend for $4 and students for $3. The yearbook staff will have concessions available. This promises to be a fun evening for the whole family! Entry forms are now available in the school office. See Austin Turner for more information.
SENIOR GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENTS
Parents of Seniors: Please be thinking about how many graduation announcements you will need to order. We will be taking orders for announcements and caps & gowns very soon. Watch for more information!
