We will begin at 9:00 a.m. each day. Please plan to come and help us for a few hours or for both days as you are able!

JIM & BETSY GERRISH TO SPEAK

The parents of our Israel Tour guide, Yoni Gerrish, will be speaking at ACA on Thursday, May 28th, at 7:00 p.m. Jim Gerrish received his Master of Divinity degree from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky (US), and served as pastor of several churches before the Lord called him to Israel. After this call, he and his wife Betsy lived in Israel as Christian workers. For most of his sixteen-year stay in Israel, Jim was associated with the evangelical Christian ministry, Bridges For Peace. For many years he directed Christian programs for BFP, welcoming and caring for new immigrants arriving in Israel. For several years of his stay, he and his wife also founded and directed the Galilee Study Center at Migdal, near Tiberias. During their years in Israel they were well-known for their gracious hospitality, genuine pastoral care and encouragement of better understanding and relationship between Christians and Jews. From all his experience, Jim has produced a comprehensive book entitled Does God Play Favorites. Jim and his wife have recently returned to the US from a two-year stay in Israel. Those who recently traveled to Israel on the ACA tour will want to come and meet Yoni’s parents! Everyone is welcome to attend.
