Entrance fees are $5 for a one person act and $10 for a group act (age 10 and under is $2 for a one person act and $4 for a group act). The show will be held on Friday, September 25th, at 7:00 p.m. in the ACA Great Room. Admission is $4 adults, $2 children 10 and under, with a $15 family maximum. Concessions will be available.

PSAT TESTING

On Wednesday, October 14th, all of ACA’s 11th graders (full-time and part-time) will be taking the PSAT. There is no cost to our 11th graders. The test preparation booklets are now available in the school office. Students will need to report to school at 7:45 a.m. the morning of the PSAT.

SEE YOU AT THE POLE

The Chapel worship team has asked that we spread the news about next Wednesday’s “See You at the Pole” event. This is a nationwide student led event. Interested students should meet in front of the school that morning at 7:00 a.m. for a time of worship and prayer. This event is being led by our students, however, teachers and parents are welcome to attend. Please call the school office if you have any questions.

COLLEGE VISIT DAYS

This Friday, September 18th, is a college visitation day for Christian school students at Oral Roberts University. Interested juniors and seniors should call 495-6165 or visit the ORU web site to register to attend and to get more information. Friday, November 6th, is College Day at Southern Nazarene University. Interested juniors and seniors should go to the SNU web site for more information and to register to attend.

OCTOBER LUNCH ORDERS

The lunch order form for the month of October is now available “here” or in the school office. If you are ordering for the month, please return your order form with payment to the school office by next Friday, September 25th. Students are always able to order lunch each morning.

PARKING LOT PROCEDURES

Parents, please remember that you are NOT to stop in the school driveway when dropping off your students in the mornings. This is very important because when you stop in the driveway, traffic backs up behind you onto 30th Street. Please drop students off at the back of the building. (Note: the back entrance will be locked at 8:05 a.m. for security purposes.) After school, please follow the directions given by our traffic attendants (wearing orange vests) when picking up students after school. If you have any questions or concerns about the afternoon traffic flow and pick-up procedure, please call the office.

TUITION PAYMENTS

Just a reminder, if you have not yet made arrangements for paying your 2009-2010 tuition, you MUST do so as soon as possible. Please stop by the school office to pick up a FACTS form for monthly payments, or to pay the first semester, or to pay in full.

LATIN CLUB

Latin Club is for students in grades 7 – 12 who have an interest in the ancient world. Miss Shields is planning some fun activities (building a chariot, toga parties, etc.) and field trips for the Latin Club this year. Students should contact Miss Shields for more information.

ON-GOING FUND RAISERS

ACA participates in several on-going fund raising projects, including Campbells Soup labels, General Mills Box Tops for Education, and Tyson Chicken A+ labels. Please collect these and bring them to the school office. We also participate in the Office Depot 5% Back to Schools program: just ask the clerk to credit our school at check out (#70120398). Target’s Take Charge of Education program is another program our school is involved in, so if you use a Target credit card please ask that ACA get credit for your purchase. If you shop online, please visit the Boxtops web site and begin your online shopping there. Questions? Call the ACA office.
