“NUTCRACKER” EMAIL LIST

“Nutcracker” emails started going out this past weekend. If your student is in the production and you did not receive an email, please check your settings and make sure they allow mail from aspenson@cox.net. This is the address from which all “Nutcracker” emails will come. It is very important that you receive the emails, as this is the only means of communication that Mrs. Post and her crew will use. Please email Mrs. Aspenson or the school office to be added to the “Nutcracker” email list. Thank you!

This Friday is the Final Friday Spirit Wear Day for the month of September. This is for everyone – no coupon necessary! Please check the school handbook for spirit wear guidelines.

DIRECTORIES AVAILABLE

ACA school directories are now available in the school office. Each family gets one for free, additional copies are $2.00 each.

ILLNESS PROCEDURES

Parents: We would like to keep our students as healthy as possible. Please remind your students about the importance of hand washing and covering their mouths when coughing or sneezing. Remind them that they should not share food or beverages with their friends. If your student is sick, please keep them at home, especially if they are coughing, sneezing, throwing up, or have a fever. We will call and ask you to come and pick up a student who is throwing up or has a fever. Students should be fever free for a minimum of 24 hours (without fever reducing medication) before returning to school. For more information about contagious illnesses, including the h1n1 flu, please visit this web site: http://www.cdc.gov/H1N1FLU

ART FEES

Art supply fees are now due for all Grammar School students and Jr. High students taking Art. Students who have not paid their art supply fee by October 1st will not be attending their art class.

They are having a Midway Rally on Saturday, October 10th, featuring Norma McCorvey (“Jane Roe” of Roe v. Wade). For more information, please visit their web site: www.40daysforlife.com/Tulsa

ON-GOING FUND RAISERS

ACA participates in several on-going fund raising projects, including Campbells Soup labels, General Mills Box Tops for Education, and Tyson Chicken A+ labels.
