The Secondary students (grades 6-12) started out the year on a high note by loading into a 70 passenger bus and spending two days "retreating" at our annual "Charger Roundtable" held at New Life Ranch. This was an uplifting time for relationship-building, relaxing, and spending time growing in our relationships with the Lord. After spending most of Thursday swimming, canoeing, kayaking, playing gym games, and just enjoying one another's company, we were blessed to meet together at the "Charger Roundtable." We began our time in song, then were blessed to hear the personal testimonies of several teachers. It was an encouraging but emotional time as with honesty they expressed to us their love for the Lord, and how through His love, they love each of us. Once the Roundtable dispersed, several of the students felt led to meet together and share their testimonies, as well as what the Lord has been doing in their lives. The Lord was truly at work during this short time, bringing new students together with the old to build one another up in Christ. It was truly a blessing to start the year off discovering with one another the "New Life" that God has granted to us.
