Israel Tour 2009

Twelve students and ten adults toured the country of Israel on an ACA sponsored trip in March, 2009. The trip was led by Dr. & Mrs. Larry Ehrlich, who have been to Israel over twenty times. The group visited such sites as Masada, En Gedi, the Dead Sea, Nazareth, the Sea of Galilee, and of course many locations in Jerusalem. A highlight of the trip was their visit to an Israeli high school on the Golan Heights. The ACA group took English language books to donate to the school library and they were able to spend some time meeting with the students in the English class there. Several ACA students now have new Israeli email buddies and facebook friends. This trip was an awesome educational experience for all who went. The students reported having a wonderful time with each other as they learned more than they ever thought possible during their two weeks in the Holy Land. This was the second ACA sponsored trip to Israel - the first trip was in 2006.
