Singing Valentines
Say “I love you” with a singing Valentine - an unforgettable gift! Imagine a quartet bearing a rose and a card appear at your sweetheart’s home or work place and say: “Jane, John has something special he’d like to tell you…” and out pours a beautiful song in gentle harmony. The ACA Performing Arts Dept. will be providing this service again this year. We have 2 high school quartet teams this year and they sound great! Singing Valentines range in price from $25 - $45 and include a long stemmed rose, a card with a personal message, and a song sung in 4 part harmony. Order forms are available in the office or in the student life section of our website. Proceeds will benefit the spring production of “The Music Man.”
PTF Family Fun Night
Join us on Monday, February 11th, at 6:30 p.m. for Family Fun Night. This family event will feature games including but not limited to: Perudo, chess, Set, musical chairs, and cup stacking. There will also be snacks available. All students must be accompanied by at least one parent (this is not a “drop off” event). Plan to be here for an evening of games and snacks.
Fencing Scholarships
Due to the generosity of one of our patrons, there are two 50% fencing scholarships available for each House. This is a great opportunity for eight of our students to get involved in a great sport! Call Mr. Post for more information about this opportunity.
Open House Dates
We need your help to spread the word about Augustine Christian Academy and our Open House times. More Open House flyers are available in the school office if you would like to hand them out at your church, daycare, or place of employment. Word of mouth advertising is the best advertising we can do, but we need your help to do it! We have four more Open House times scheduled: February 20 & 24 and March 3 & 5.
Valentine Store
The Valentine Store operated by the Performing Arts Dept. will be opening soon in the ACA auditorium. Buy your Valentine something special - items will be delivered on the 14th. For more information click here.
Thank You
Thank you to Mr. Nettles, Mr. Conroy, Mr. Sitki, and Dr. Ehrlich for their work on the library ceiling. It isn’t yet done, but they got a lot accomplished last Saturday. Thank you also to Mrs. Aspenson, Mrs. Sitki, and Mrs. Conroy for helping with our first Open House on February 5th. We really appreciate your help!
Five Week Reports
Five week progress reports will be sent home with students this Friday. Parents, ask to see your student’s progress report or check their grades at Gradenet.

National Latin Exam
Our secondary Latin students will participate in the National Latin Exam on Tuesday, March 11 beginning at 8:00 a.m. This exam is given to secondary Latin students across the country. For more information see the National Latin Exam's website.
