CHARGER ON-LINE
The Charger will no longer be handed out to each student beginning the week after Spring Break. It will be posted on the ACA web site each Wednesday afternoon. A limited number of paper copies will be available in the school office each week if you prefer a hard copy. An e-mail with a link to the Charger will be sent each week. If you are not on our e-mail list, you can send your e-mail address to: office@acatulsa.org to be added. You can also subscibe to the RSS newsfeed at our web site and stay updated that way.
“MUSIC MAN” TICKETS
Tickets for “The Music Man” will go on sale this Friday, March 7th, in the ACA office.
FALLACY COURT AND PTF
If your student has been in Logic then you have heard about Fallacy Court. This coming Monday, March 10th, at 6:30 p.m. you can experience this courtroom of humor, logic, and wit with the honorable Judge Post presiding. Following the Fallacy Court, Development Coordinator Mr. Chuck Stophel will be sharing the marketing and development vision for ACA. Our school has been one of the best-kept secrets in Tulsa - it’s time for that to change! Child care will be available if needed.
NATIONAL LATIN EXAM
All secondary Latin students at ACA will participate in the National Latin Exam on Tuesday, March 11 beginning at 8:00 a.m. Please do not be late! This exam is given to secondary Latin students across the country. Students performing well receive award certificates and ribbons.
YEARBOOKS
This year we will have an all color, hardback yearbook! If you order your yearbook on-line with a credit card before April 25, you will receive a $5 discount. Go here to order your yearbook.
RE-ENROLLMENT
Re-enrollment forms were mailed out in early February and FACTS tuition payment forms will be mailed out within the next few days. Please help us by returning your re-enrollment forms to the office as quickly as possible so class plans can be made for next year. Financial aid applications are now available in the office. Remember that financial aid is not automatic and must be applied for each year.
END OF THIRD QUARTER
The quarter ends this Friday, March 7, and all make up tests and quizzes must be taken by that date. Report cards will be issued on March 14th.
MUSIC MAN COSTUMES
Calling all costume helpers: we will be working on costumes for “The Music Man” during rehearsals from 3:00 to 6:00 each Tuesday and Thursday. A lot of costumes will need to be “made from scratch” for this musical in addition to the costumes from our “closet” that will need alterations. There are also a lot of gluing projects this time (for those who don’t sew.) If your student is in “The Music Man” we would love to have your help! Call Mrs. Geppelt at 482-2702 or 808-3490 to volunteer.
FENCING SCHOLARSHIPS
Due to the generosity of one of our patrons, there are two 50% fencing scholarships available for each House. This is a great opportunity for eight of our students to get involved in the great sport of fencing! Call Mr. Post for more information about this opportunity.
