CHRISTMAS AT LAKEWOOD CARE CENTER

A HUGE Thank You to everyone who helped with our Christmas outreach to Lakewood Care Center! The residents really enjoyed the Grammar School students and their program, and they were very excited to receive the filled Christmas stockings. Thanks so much for helping to brighten their day!

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Beginning in January, ACA needs someone to work in the kitchen & lunchroom each day 11:00 a.m until 1:00 p.m. This is a paid position and involves getting the lunchroom ready for lunches, receiving and setting out the ordered lunches, and cleaning up following the secondary lunch period. Please call the office at 832-4600 to apply for this position.

LIBRARY REMODEL

If you haven’t been in the school in the past couple of weeks, you need to stop in and take a look at the new library! The shelves are almost complete and we plan to have them stained over the Christmas break. If you would like to purchase a bookcase in honor or in memory of someone, there are still a few bookcases available. A small plaque will be placed on the bookcase indicating who it is in honor of and who purchased it. Each bookcase cost $175. Contact the office or Mr. Post for more information.

FINAL EXAM SCHEDULE

Parents please note: Final exams continue on December 18-19. School will be dismissed for all grades at noon on the 18th and 19th. There will be no lunches on the 18th and 19th and there will be no after school care on the 19th. The school office will close at 12:30 p.m. on December 19th for Christmas break. All make up work must be completed by December 18th unless special arrangements are made with the teacher.

JANUARY LUNCH ORDER FORMS

Lunch order forms for the month of January are due in the office by Friday, December 19th. Students may still order in their classrooms each day. The monthly order form is for your convenience only. Click here for the January order form.

WINTER WEATHER

It is that time of year again. When winter weather strikes the Tulsa area, please listen to KFAQ 1170 or KRMG 740 on the radio, or watch the local TV channels for school closing announcements. Augustine Christian Academy will be announced if we are closed, however please remember that if Tulsa Public Schools are closed for weather, ACA will also be closed that day as well. Please do not call the teachers or administration on snowy mornings to ask if ACA is having school.

DONUTS & COFFEE ON FRIDAYS

On Fridays you can have your breakfast at ACA! The yearbook staff will be offering donuts and coffee for sale on Friday mornings from 7:15 – 7:55. Coffee is $1 and donuts are $.50 or $.75.
