FALL BREAK

There is no school on Thursday and Friday, October 16 & 17. It is Fall Break for Augustine Christian Academy. Have a wonderful long weekend!

REPORT CARDS

The first quarter report cards will be sent home with students on Friday, October 24th. Part-time students should ask for their report card in the office the following week. Parents: be sure to ask to see your student’s report card.

THE ULTIMATE LEGACY

Come be inspired by Mr. Jim Stovall, author of “The Ultimate Gift,” at our fall fund raising event on Friday, November 7th, at the Green Country Event Center. Enjoy the decadent dessert social, the silent & live auction, entertainment, and inspiration all in one night for only $25 per person. If you would like to donate something for the auction, please contact Mr. Chuck Stophel at chuck@acatulsa.org. If you could display a poster at your church or place of employment, please stop by the office and get some posters. If you would like to take some tickets to sell, please contact Mr. Stophel. Tickets for the event are on sale now in the school office or here.

BEAUTY & THE BEAST WORKSHOP

CALLING ALL SECONDARY STUDENTS: The “Beauty & the Beast” workshop will be held on Saturday, November 1st. Registration forms and information are available in the school office. The cost is $25 if registered by October 24th, and $35 late registration after October 24th. The workshop will include music, dancing, character profiles, acting tips, and audition tips and information. Lunch is also included. There is a 10% discount for families registering more than one student. Students attending the workshop are not required to audition for the play, and students not attending the workshop may still audition for the play (they must learn the music and dance steps from someone who attended). Students taking the ACT on November 1st can still attend the afternoon sessions of the workshop – call the office for information.

THANK YOU

A BIG THANK YOU to Delta T Limited for helping us this week! Two of our lunchroom tables had broken legs. Delta T Limited picked up the tables, repaired them (welded the legs), and returned them to the school. We so appreciate the help from this fine company!
