THE ULTIMATE LEGACY

Come and be inspired by Mr. Jim Stovall, author of “The Ultimate Gift,” at our fall fund raising event on Friday, November 7th, at the Green Country Event Center. Enjoy the decadent dessert social, the silent & live auction, entertainment, and inspiration all in one night. Tickets are two for only $25, so plan to bring a friend or family member. If you would like to donate something for the auction, please contact Mr. Chuck Stophel at chuck@acatulsa.org. If you could display a poster at your church or place of employment, please stop by the office and get some posters. If you would like to take some tickets to sell, please contact Mr. Stophel. Tickets for the event are on sale now in the school office or here. Plan to attend!

BEAUTY & THE BEAST WORKSHOP

CALLING ALL SECONDARY STUDENTS: The “Beauty & the Beast” workshop will be held on Saturday, November 1st. Registration forms and information are available in the school office. The cost is $25 if registered by October 24th, and $35 late registration after October 24th. The workshop will include music, dancing, character profiles, acting tips, and audition tips and information. Lunch is also included. There is a 10% discount for families registering more than one student. Students attending the workshop are not required to audition for the play, and students not attending the workshop may still audition for the play (they must learn the music and dance steps from someone who attended). Students taking the ACT on November 1st can still attend the afternoon sessions of the workshop – call the office for information.

NOVEMBER LUNCH ORDER FORMS

The monthly lunch order forms for November are now available in the school office or by clicking here. If you are ordering for the month, please bring your order form and payment to the school office by Friday, October 31st.

DONUTS & COFFEE ON FRIDAYS

Every Friday and Monday, you can have your breakfast at ACA! The yearbook staff will be offering donuts and coffee for sale on Friday mornings from 7:15 – 7:55. Coffee is $1 and donuts are $.50 or $.75.

ISRAEL TRIP MEETINGS

The first Israel Tour meeting is this Sunday, October 26th, at 3:00. These meetings are required for all students going to Israel next spring or thinking of going. These teaching times are also open to anyone who simply want to know more about the land of Israel: history, politics, and people. This Sunday we will be using maps to discuss the history of the Middle East and Israel and how that affects the current Arab-Israel conflict. Come prepared to learn and participate! The next two meeting dates are:

Sunday, November 16, 3:00 p.m.

Sunday, December 7, 3:00 p.m.

GRANDPARENTS DAY

November 26th, 9:30 to noon there will be an early dismissal for all students. Grammar students are encouraged to invite grandparents and/or special adults in their lives to attend . There will be refreshments at 9:30 and the Program begins at 10:00

CAMPBELLS LABELS & BOXTOPS

If you have been saving your Campbell’s labels and General Mills Boxtops for Education, please bring them to the school office by October 31st. We have a lot of labels and boxtops that were turned in over the summer and during first quarter, and we will soon be sending them in for redemption. If you haven’t been saving labels and boxtops, start saving them now for our spring turn in date.
