Seniors Austin Turner and Sally Asher were crowned the King and Queen of Winter Court 2009 on Friday, January 30th. The theme of the evening was “candle light” and the auditorium looked beautiful. The high school students were dressed in their best as they enjoyed the meal from Michael’s Catering and the Dialectic students were great waiters as they delivered food, beverages, and notes to each table. The winner of the Queen’s Riddle was Derek Davis, and the winner of the Knight’s Challenge was Caleb Weir. Mark Geppelt and Genesis King, King & Queen of Winter Court 2008, were on hand to crown the new King & Queen and give them a challenge. Tim and Sarah Chorley represented the New Order of Augustine in welcoming the new members of the Order. There were a lot of parent volunteers who’s work made the wonderful evening possible! Many thanks to Mr. Post and Mrs. Miller for all of their work on Winter Court 2009. Thank you to the students who allowed us to use their snapshots from Winter Court.
