Coming this Fall to Augustine Christian Academy:

PERFORMING ARTS - JR. COMPANY Director: Gale Post; Choreography: Dawn Redden; Costumes: Linda Geppelt; Make-up & Hair: Vickie Wilsterman

• Designed for all Full Time or Part Time ACA students Grades 2-8

• No previous experience needed!

• ALL students that enroll in the program and go through the audition process will be cast in a roll and appear on stage.

• Older students will have greater opportunity for leading and supporting roles based on their commitment and ability! Younger students will have enormous opportunity to learn theatre skills and build their self-confidence on stage.

• Students will receive instruction in voice, choreography, elements of dance, drama, make-up, costumes, and stage presence.

• Program will mimic the Performing Arts SR. Program including the optional pre- production workshop, auditions (for cast assignment), and cast party.

• Production Fee: $55 (includes cast tee shirt, libretto, make-up, costume rental, instruction in voice, choreography, dance, drama, and theatre. Fee does not include shoes, tights, or socks.

• All parents will be asked to support the program by volunteering in different aspects of the production. This will be discussed at the Parent Meeting to be held prior to the beginning of rehearsals.

• Rehearsals: Tuesday / Thursday, 1:45 – 3:45 p.m.; some Saturday rehearsals. Rehearsal times may be increased as necessary. First Rehearsal: Tuesday, September 8th.
