Coming soon to the Augustine Christian Academy stage – “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers”. This musical not only has great songs and rollicking dance numbers, but the story contains adventure, comedy, and romance making it the perfect musical for the whole family to see. ACA senior Alec Hill has the role of Adam, the eldest of seven brothers, who goes to town to get a wife. He convinces Milly, played by senior Anna Tracy, to marry him that same day. They return to his backwoods home and Milly discovers he has six brothers, all of whom are all anxious to get wives of their own. After reading about the Roman capture of the Sabine women, the brothers come up with a solution to their problem of loneliness.
Performances of “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” will take place April 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, & 25 in the ACA auditorium. Each performance will begin with pre-show entertainment featuring songs from the musical “Oklahoma”. Watch for ticket information coming soon!
