St. Augustine's Winter Court of 2007 was a magnificent event, and would not have been possible without the help of so many people, particularly Mrs. Miller and the Dialectic students. For many weeks leading up to Winter Court, Mrs. Miller had been planning and preparing the table settings and decorations, as well as a delicious meal. On the day of Winter Court, the Jr. High students did not attend classes, but were to report to school at noon to begin setting tables and preparing food. The menu consisted of a Chef's Choice Fruited Salad, Cranberry Glazed Pork Loin, Twice Baked Potato, Green Beans with Snow Peas and Lemon, Hot French Bread, Rasberry Cheese Cake, and an Oreo Ball, all of which were delicious. As a humble act of service, the students in the seventh and eighth grade served the meal to the high school students and faculty attending Winter Court. The servants also passed notes between attendees, a beloved tradition of Winter Court. We are all so very grateful for Mrs. Miller and her dialectic students for working so hard to make the night of Winter Court wonderful.
