Last Wednesday the Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade classes had a blast at the Tulsa State Fair. The young students had many opportunities to learn and have fun on this field trip. A few sights they visited were the Petting Zoo, the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office Display, and the Birthing Center. They viewed science experiments, made visors out of foam, and saw the famous Butter Sculpture, “Little Girl and Beauty Queen.” In the Just For Kids building, they played with Lego’s and Kapla Blocks. Their general favorite exhibit was Babaloo Fun & Music, where the children could play the unique instruments and create their own music. Ask anyone who went to the fair, and I’m sure they’ll say it was fun.
