On September 21st, Saint Augustine's Latin II and Greek I and II classes attended the Annual Greek Festival, held at Tulsa's own Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. During that time, the students listened to a presentation by Father Bill explaining the icons used in the church and a brief history of the Greek Church itself. They also enjoyed authentic Greek food and pastries, and traditional Greek dances. The Market displayed many imported Greek food and gifts such as hand-sewn clothes, Greek coffee, and jewelry. Our students learned much about the Greek culture in this short time of education and entertainment.
