A HUGE THANK YOU to all of our Wheel-A-Thon, Walk-A-Thon and Golf Tournament participants.  Our goal is $50,000!  As of this afternoon, over $43,000 has been raised!  And donations are still coming in.  We really appreciate the Fall Fundraiser Committee for all of their hard work to make sure every event went smoothly!  Special thanks to Katherine Lockhart, Karen Aspenson, Jeff Hartung, Jens Quilitzsch, Angela Sartin-Hartung, Jennifer Rudolph, Bernie Bloemker, and Tanyala Woods.  Thanks also go out to the many other parents and teachers who helped with the events!

HOUSE OF HONOR

Congratulations to Falcon House for winning the first quarter!  They had 1271 hours of community service, which helped boost them into first place.  In honor of Falcon House winning the quarter, Mr. Post has said that all Falcon House members may have a day of Spirit Wear this Friday, October 14 but students MUST wear a Falcon House t-shirt (previous year t-shirt is ok).

GRAILBALL TOURNAMENT BEGINS

The four Houses will begin their annual fall Grailball tournament on Thursday, October 13.  There will be a special schedule to accommodate the Grailball games.  You can see the day’s schedule HERE.  Parents are welcome to come and watch the games.

UPWARD BASKETBALL

Augustine Christian Academy does not have a sports program, but we encourage our students to participate in community sports programs.  One local sports program that several ACA students get involved in each year is Upward Basketball and Cheer at Liberty Church on S. Garnett.  For more information about Upward and to register your student for basketball or cheer, go to: http://wwwsouthtulsaupward.org.
