ISRAEL TOUR CHAPEL

On Monday, April 1, at 9:00 a.m. the students and teachers who went on the recent Israel Tour will be sharing about their experiences in a special Chapel. Their presentation will include music, a slide show, and personal reflections on their time in Israel. Parents and friends are welcome to attend! We are adjusting the class schedule to allow more time for Chapel - you will find the special schedule below.

DISNEY’S “THE LITTLE MERMAID” JR.

Tickets are on sale now for ACA’s Junior Performing Arts Company production of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” Jr. April 11 – 14 in the ACA Great Room. Plan to join us “Under the Sea” as our 4th – 8th graders present this fun musical! Adult tickets are $10 and student tickets are $7. Posters and postcards are available in the school office – pick some up and invite your friends!

When buying your “Little Mermaid” tickets, consider purchasing a Booster Bag and skipping the concession lines the day of the show. Booster Bags will contain a hot dog (Nathan’s brand), goldfish crackers, soda or water, and cheesecake (for adult bag) or cookies (for kid’s bag) for only $6 for adult bags and $5 for kid bags.

Thursday, April 11 at 7:00 p.m.
Friday, April 12 at 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 13 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, April 14 at 3:00 p.m.

RE-ENROLLMENT FOR 2013-2014

Please return your enrollment forms and tuition deposit ($100 per family) to the school office by as soon as possible to guarantee your students place in their class. We are currently accepting new students in K4 & K5 and will begin accepting new students in all other grades on April 1st. Remember to complete an enrollment form for each student in your family. Please call the school office if you have any questions concerning re-enrollment.

PIZZA NIGHT

On Thursday, March 28, ACA students planning to go on the East Coast Trip in the spring of 2014 are having a fundraiser event at Top That Pizza at 83rd & Memorial in Tulsa. Just go eat some great pizza, between 5:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., then drop your receipt in the box at the restaurant and Top That Pizza will give our students a payment equal to 10% of all receipts collected during the evening!

SENIOR ANNOUNCEMENT PICTURES

Attention Parents of Seniors: If you are planning to purchase graduation announcements through ACA, please email your senior’s picture to Becki at: [email protected] along with the number of announcements desired and the student’s name as it should appear on their announcements (some students include their middle name and some don’t). Please have this sent in by April 1st because we are placing the order next week. Also, the Senior Information Sheet is will be due soon! You will find the Information Sheet as well as the Senior Information Letter attached below.

RHETORIC ENGLISH MASTERY EXAM

High school students at ACA must either take a class in English Grammar, or pass the Rhetoric English Mastery Exam (REME) with an 80% or better score. The REME test is given three times per year and the first opportunity to take it in 2013 will be on Saturday, April 20th. The test will also be given twice during the summer. The REME begins at 9:00 a.m. and students are given three hours to complete the test. The cost is $50, which includes three opportunities to pass the test in the current year. A review guide and book may be checked out in the office when the student signs up to take the REME.

APRIL LUNCH ORDERS

The monthly lunch order form for April is now available in the school office and is attached below. Orders are due by Monday morning, April 1st if students are ordering for the month.

SPRING PORTRAIT PACKAGES

Spring portrait packages (or payment for them) are now PAST DUE. Several students have not yet returned their package or payment. Please hand them in at the school office by tomorrow, March 28.

WORLDS FINEST CHOCOLATE BARS

Congratulations to our top sellers: the Fanning family took the top prize by selling 16 boxes, the Lockhart & Smith families each sold 6 boxes, and the Wilsterman family sold 5 boxes. Each family was rewarded with a VISA gift card. If you have not turned in your chocolate bar money, please bring it to the school office. You can still buy chocolate bars in the school office, so stop by and get some!
