Eat Chili, Buy Pie, Raise Money for the Seniors

On Friday, October 25, 2013 from 6-8 PM the senior class of Augustine Christian Academy will put on a Chili Supper and Dessert Auction to raise funds for senior activities, the class banner, and the traditional senior gift at the end of the year. This family-friendly event is scheduled for the Performing Arts Building at the school, and parents, students, and friends of ACA are welcome.

The event, entitled “Chili-in with the Seniors,” offers a single bowl of chili & a drink for $3, and a bottomless bowl will be $5. Family cap is $15 maximum. The desserts include homemade pies, cakes, cupcakes, and cookies including such favorites as German chocolate cake, and apple crisp made by the seniors and their families.

Senior Elise Collingsworth said, “It is a great opportunity to get to know the seniors and students that your children go to school with everyday,” in a clear call to parents AND students of ACA. And, as another senior pointed out, ‘You can wear casual clothing, so there’s no reason to miss out!”
