One hundred is a big, important number. When you earn 100%, you’ve really achieved. If you have a $100 bill, you feel “rich” (at least for a little while). If you live 100 years, well, you can say just about anything you want, fall asleep in the middle of conversations, and repeat stories everyone has heard before but no one will think any less of you.
So, in honor of reaching the notable number of 100, ACA Grammar School students celebrated the 100th day of the school year in January, donning costumes that hearkened to 1914 (100 years ago), playing games, studying lessons, and enjoying trivia and fun for everyone aged 1-100. Part of the spirit of classical education is remembering and celebrating the history that has brought us to today, and this 100th day celebration was another opportunity to encourage the “wonder and delight” that characterizes the Grammar School experience.
If you’d like to know more about ACA and how we build for the future while we honor and learn from the past, contact us at 918-832-4600 or email us and ask for an enrollment packet for the 2014-2015 school year. Better yet, call the office to set up a tour and see for yourself why ACA is unlike any other school in Tulsa.
