Summer Arts
Welcome to summer arts 2026!
Summer Arts at ACA is open to all students in the Tulsa community and surrounding areas. Please refer to the descriptions below. Students register according to the grade they will be in for Fall 2026. Registration and payment can be completed below.
Week 1
June 1-5
Morning Classes: 9am-Noon
Puppet Camp I (grades 1-3) CLOSED
with Mrs. Toni Ahrens, $150 per camper
Campers complete the crafting of a personal puppet, learn skills of puppet performance, perform in a puppet theater for guests, and take their puppets home.
Cooking 101 "What to Bring to a Party!" (grades 6-12)
With Ms. Lidia Tavarez, $150 per camper
This summer, we're going to make foods that are easy to share with friends at a party, such as charcuterie boards, small bites, and desserts. This is a perfect BEGINNER cooking class! 12 spots available.
Painting 101 (grades 3-12) CLOSED
with Mrs. Sarah Phelps, $150 per camper
Come and play with paint! Students will learn how to paint with watercolor, Acrylic, and mixed media. Students will create four different art pieces to take home at the end of the week. Ages 3rd Graders plus!
Grailball Camp (grades 4-8) CLOSED
With House Sponsors, $150 per camper
Join us for Grailball Camp and discover the thrilling experience of learning how to play. Grailball is the official game of the houses of Augustine Christian Academy. Grailball combines elements of ultimate frisbee, field ball, and basketball while adding a unique Medieval twist. This fun and challenging game gives ACA students the opportunity to compete as well as work together toward a common goal.
June 1-5
AFTERNOON Classes: 1-4pm

Campers complete the crafting of a personal puppet, learn more advanced skills of puppet performance, perform in a puppet theater for guests, and take home their puppet.
Sculpting 101 (grades 5-12)
with Mrs. Sarah Phelps, $150 per camper
Come and build a 3D sculpture with me! We will learn a variety of different sculptural techniques and plan to complete three projects through the week with fun little additional experimental building projects. We will have a total of 10 spots for this class as well and will joyfully include high school students who would like to intern as well.
Cooking 202 "Flavors of Latin America" (grades 6-12) CLOSED
With Ms. Lidia Tavarez, $150 per camper
This class is “intermediate” level for students who excelled in Cooking 101 last summer, or can easily follow directions and cook more independently with heat and sharp objects. We’ll be making dishes from several Spanish-speaking countries! 8 spots available.
Week 2

Audition Workshop
Saturday, May 9: 9am-12:30pm

Theatre Camp: The Jungle Book Kids
June 8-12, 9am-3pm
$175 per camper for 1st child / $150 per camper for siblings
Following the Audition Workshop, the cast will be chosen. Then join us for a whirlwind week of fun at Summer Arts Theatre Camp! Camp begins June 8! Students from the Tulsa community are invited to see what Performing Arts at ACA is all about! From costumes to choreography, campers will learn it all in one week and debut their show on the last day of camp!
