For Immediate Release 3/25/2020
Dear ACA Families,
Thanks to the efforts of Jessika Crow, ACA’s Emergency Management Coordinator, we have continued to closely monitor the latest community response to COVID-19. On Tuesday, March 24, Governor Kevin Stitt announced that in order to protect the health and safety of all Oklahomans, all nonessential businesses and non-critical infrastructures will be closed for the next 21 days.
As a result of this order from the state, ACA will officially be extending Cyber School by two more weeks, through April 17th. We will not have the physical office open for business; however, the office staff will be working remotely. If you need to get hold of us during this time please feel free to email or call. If you have general questions please email [email protected].
We know you will join us in praying that the Tulsa area will be able to get back to work and back to school in the coming weeks. Please know, however, that our teachers are prepared to work creatively with our students for as long as this pandemic persists, even if that means completing the year through cyber school.
We held a staff meeting over Spring Break where staff expressed a collective desire to be back in the classroom with their students. Our goal is to be back on campus, together as a school family, as soon as possible. However, our first priority is the safety of our students, staff, and family. Therefore, we will continue to monitor the rapidly changing situation and promise to keep you updated as decisions are made that will impact our ACA families.
Again, we want to assure families that along with everyone’s health and safety, our student’s educational goals remain forefront in our hearts and minds. We are excited to share some of these innovative teaching methods in the coming weeks as we hold tight to the promise that “…in all things God works for the good” (Romans 8:28).
Please do not hesitate to reach out to the Administration at any time.
