The ACA Grammar School will present their annual Grandparents Day program next Tuesday, November 20, at 1:30 p.m. The program will include presentations from each of the Grammar School classes and will be followed by refreshments and classroom visits. Grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, and “grand-friends” are all welcome to attend! Grammar school students must wear their High Convocation uniform for this program. Please note: this is a change of day from when this program has been held in the past.

Most of the set construction for the musical, “White Christmas”, has been completed, but NOW we need the help of all of our artists for the detail painting. There are several trucks and flats that need the hand of one of our resident Rembrandts. If you could come by the school and adopt one of the sections as a project, it would be GREATLY appreciated! Please see Mr. Post, or send him an email to volunteer: [email protected] .

On Monday, November 19th, students in grades K4 – 5th grade do not need to wear their High Convocation uniforms. On Tuesday, November 20th, students in grades K4 – 5th grade MUST wear their High Convocation uniforms because of the Grandparents Day program.

If you missed it the first time, the Lifetouch photographer will return to ACA on Tuesday, November 27 for picture re-takes beginning at 10:00 a.m. If you ordered pictures, those were distributed to students this week. If you are not happy with your portraits, you can return them to the school office and your student’s portrait will be re-done.

On Friday, November 30th, at 7:00 p.m. our ACA families will gather for the annual ACA Christmas Celebration. This is a week earlier than normal because of the production of “White Christmas” the following weekend. And we will be in a NEW LOCATION… the Woodlake Assembly of God church at 7100 E. 31st Street, Tulsa (just around the corner from ACA – go east on 31st Street from Sheridan, the church is between Sheridan and Memorial on the south side of the street).

Mark your calendar for this special evening! It will include Christmas carols & other special music, performances from ACA students, fellowship with other families, and lots & lots of delicious Christmas cookies. There will also be a love offering taken for the ACA teachers and staff. The school budget does not include a bonus, so the love offering taken each year is used to provide a Christmas bonus to the teachers and staff who work with your students each day. NOTE: Students must wear their High Convocation uniforms for the Christmas Celebration.
