Jean Anderson and her sons joined the ACA family in 1998, and, throughout the time her sons attended and long after they graduated, she was a supportive prayer warrior for ACA. Jean is with the Lord now, but her legacy to her sons and those who knew her was a love for God and His Word.
The Jean Anderson Memorial Bible Award is designed to honor this woman of God and to encourage ACA students to increase their love of studying God’s Word. Beginning this year, and each year in March, ACA high school students are invited to take a Bible Literacy Test to demonstrate what they have learned from their study of the Bible. Jean’s son, Greg Anderson, who is ACA’s first alumnus and recently completed his Masters in Divinity from Dallas Theological Seminary, has written the test. The ACA student earning the highest score each year will be awarded a new Bible, engraved with their name, and will receive a cash award of $100. The Bible Literacy Test will be given this year on March 11 at 2:30 p.m. and on March 12 at 8:00 a.m.
Interested students must register for the test in the school office.
