There are a few tickets still available for the performances of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid”. Plan to join us “Under the Sea” for this fun musical! Adult tickets are $10 and student tickets are $7. Be sure to invite your friends!

Thursday, April 11 at 7:00 p.m.
Friday, April 12 at 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 13 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, April 14 at 3:00 p.m. – SOLD OUT!


We are excited to announce the addition of Mr. John Ahrens, Dr. Malcolm McGuire, and Mr. James Kuhn to the ACA “family”. An email with more information was sent to ACA families earlier today.


Cast members and their families must sign up for the cast party to be held on Sunday evening. If you haven’t yet signed up, please stop by the office! The cost is $5 per person with a family maximum of $20. Also, cast parents please see the attachment below concerning Call Times for cast members!


High school students at ACA must either take a class in English Grammar, or pass the Rhetoric English Mastery Exam (REME) with an 80% or better score. The REME test is given three times per year and the first opportunity to take it in 2013 will be on Saturday, April 20th. The test will also be given twice during the summer. The REME begins at 9:00 a.m. and students are given three hours to complete the test. The cost is $50, which includes three opportunities to pass the test in the current year. A review guide and book may be checked out in the office when the student signs up to take the REME.


The Jr. High trip this year is April 26-28 and they are going to San Antonio, TX. The cost is $220 per person. The permission slip and payment is due by Wednesday, April 17. There are only 36 places available for students to go on this trip, so don’t delay in returning the permission slip and payment. You will find the trip information and permission slip attached below.


It’s not yet to late to order your yearbook, but time is running out! Yearbooks are $35 each and can be ordered in the school office or from the ACA website. You can also ask the office to invoice you for your yearbook. Yearbooks must be ordered by Friday, April 19th!


The Senior Class is sponsoring a Talent Show on April 19, at 7:00 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door: Adults $5 and Students $3. Concession items will be available. Students who would like to perform may pick up an application from Mrs. Brewer. We have so many talented students at ACA that you do not want to miss this fun evening.


“Thank You for the Music” is the last little theater of the year! This event, Friday, May 3, will feature the Show Choir, Vocal Ensemble, excerpts from our musicals, and a SURPRISE musical selection finale. Tickets will only be available at the door! Plan to be here!


Mrs. Thornhill, our art teacher, needs egg cartons and brown paper grocery bags for her art classes. If you can donate these items, please drop them off in the school office.


One of our students who went on the recent Israel trip, Nick Conroy, has put together a video from the trip, which includes places they visited and their thoughts on the trip. It is an outstanding 20 minute video and you should go watch it! Here is the link to it on youtube:
