VALEDICTORIAN & SALUTATORIAN
We are pleased to announce that Julia Morgan has been named Valedictorian, and Nuria Martinez-Keel has been named Salutatorian for the Augustine Christian Academy Class of 2013. Julia will be attending the University of Tulsa next year, and Nuria will be attending Oklahoma State University. Congratulations to both of these young ladies.
SENIOR CLASS INFORMATION
Members of the Class of 2013 may pick up their announcements and their caps & gowns in the school office. The cost of the cap & gown is $25 and the cost of the announcements varies by the number purchased - $17.50 for 25, $27.50 for 50, $34.50 for 75, and $42.50 for 100. The Graduation Fee of $100 is due by May 10. The Seniors & Staff Luncheon will be held on May 17 at noon in the Performing Arts Building, followed by the graduation rehearsal at Woodlake Assembly Church at 2:00 p.m. This is also the time for setting up your senior’s display table at the church.
“Thank You for the Music” is the last little theater of the 2012-2013 school year! This event, Friday, May 3, will feature the Show Choir, Vocal Ensemble, excerpts from our musicals, and a SURPRISE musical selection finale. Tickets will only be available at the door! Concession items will be available. Plan to be here!
The following ACA students have been accepted to the Quartz Mountain Fine Arts Camp for this coming summer: Liesl Krautter, Madacyn Byrd, Joseph Bates, and Anthony Conroy. They had to go through an application and audition process to be accepted into the program. Congratulations to these talented students.
Congratulations to Anthony Conroy for earning a perfect score on the 2013 National Greek Exam. The American Classical League and The National Junior Classical League give this exam nationwide every year.
YOUTH LACROSSE INFORMATION
Tulsa Youth Lacrosse is hosting a Summer Kick Off Bash on Saturday, May 11, 2:00 – 4:00. If your student is interested in learning about the sport of lacrosse, you won’t want to miss this event. FINAL EXAM SCHEDULE
Final exams for students in grades 6 – 12 will be on May 15 – 17. The final exam schedule is attached below. No lunches will be available May 15 – 17, so students staying through the lunch period should pack their lunch! There will be after school care available on the 15th & 16th, but not on Friday, May 17th.
SHOW CHOIR AUDITIONS
This Saturday, May 4, there will be an audition workshop from 10:00 a.m. until noon for girls interested in auditioning for the 2013-2014 ACA Ladies Show Choir. Auditions will be held on next Tuesday, May 7, 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. Both events will be held in the ACA Performing Arts Building. The audition packet is attached below or you can pick one up in the school office.
A big thank you to everyone who has been bringing in their Box Tops for Education and Campbell’s labels! We recently received a check for $97.40 from Box Tops and six sets of playground balls from Campbells! Keep bringing those in to the school office!
At ACA we celebrate several Graduations! Below is the list showing dates and times for our graduations for this May. Please note: Students attending graduation ceremonies must wear their High Convocation uniform.
Kindergarten – Tuesday, May 14, 10:00 a.m. in the ACA Great Room
5th Grade – Tuesday, May 14, 2:00 p.m. in the ACA Great Room
8th Grade – Thursday, May 16, 7:00 p.m. in the ACA Great Room
12th Grade – Friday, May 17, 7:00 p.m. at Woodlake Assembly of God Church
Tuesday, May 14, will be the last day of school for Grades K4 – 5. Grades 6 – 12 will have final exams on May 15 – 17.

The secondary class schedule for next school year is attached below. Mr. Post has made schedules for full-time high school students, so if you have specific class requests make an appointment to meet with Mr. Post.
