The details are set and a full week of lunch options will begin the first week of September! Please see the monthly order form attached below or pick one up in the school office. There are some new options this year and we are excited about sharing them with you! We are adding Foundations Restaurant on Tuesdays and they will provide a different menu each Tuesday. Tuesday lunches must be ordered in advance (the Thursday prior), so students will not be able to order on Tuesday mornings. Subway will be providing our Thursday lunches with a selection of sandwiches in various sizes. On Fridays we will be getting lunch items from Café 320 and they sound delicious. All of these new lunches will begin in September. Be sure to check out the lunch menu/order form below for all the new options and the pricing. You can use the monthly order form to pre-order as many or as few days in the month as you wish. THE SEPTEMBER ORDER FORM & PAYMENT IS DUE AUGUST 29.

Next week we will have Chick-fil-A available on Monday, August 26, pizza on Wednesday, August 28, and Freckles Frozen Custard on Friday, August 30. Lunches must be ordered first thing in the morning at the school office or in the student’s first hour class. Part-time students may call the office prior to 9:00 a.m. to order their lunch (but please don’t leave a message, be sure to talk to someone!).


New ACA families will be receiving a letter in the mail with their parent Gradenet account information. Families not new to ACA who have never logged into Gradenet on the parent account, will also receive a letter. It includes the user ID for parents and the default password. The program will force you to create a new password the first time you log in.


We are now taking orders for ACA Spirit Wear shirts! There are two colors to choose from and sizes from Y-XS to Adult 4XL! They cost just $12 (the plus sizes are $2 more). PARENTS CAN ORDER SHIRTS FOR THEMSELVES TOO! Order forms are due in the office by Monday, September 9th. You can pick up an order form in the school office and you will also find it attached below.


If you ordered a DVD of this summer’s performance of Disney’s “101 Dalmatians”, you are now able to pick that up in the office. The cost is $10 and checks should be made payable to Kenneth Jones.


Did anyone ever tell you, “You oughta be in pictures”? Well, here’s your chance!
You can help fund our ACA students’ chance to get “hands-on” experience recording and editing professional grade videos of our one-of-a-kind musicals through our A/V Club. You can be part of the big learning picture at ACA, and support students as they make actual movies.

Attention AV Club Members: our first meeting will be next Monday, August 26, at 4:00 p.m. in the Great Room.


Who would like some rolling classroom stools? We have replaced the rolling stools in our science lab with new chairs and we have several of the lab stools available. If you know of anyone who would be interested in them, have them call the school office. You can take a look at them in the school lobby.


Do you (or someone you know) have any treated wood chips that could be donated for our playground? We have a few low spots that we need to fill! We want to avoid using the free wood chips from the city of Tulsa, because it is untreated and we don’t want to have any poison oak, bugs, etc. on our playground.


Come and join our Parent Prayer Ministry in praying for our students, staff, and ACA families! Whether you want to join us just once in a while, or every week, we are always stronger together! We will be meeting for one hour on Wednesday mornings at 8:15 a.m. in ACA’s Performing Arts Building. We’ll look forward to seeing you! No make-up or close shaves required!


Attention parents of high school students: If your student borrowed the Rhetoric Grammar book to study for the REME test, PLEASE return the book to the school office as soon as possible! The students taking the class need those books! Thanks so much!


Each year at the beginning of the school year, our secondary students spend two days together at New Life Ranch in Colcord, OK. This is a great time of fun and fellowship as students get to know each other and the ACA faculty outside of the classroom. This year Charger Round Table is today and tomorrow. Students boarded the buses at 8:20 a.m. this morning and will return to the school at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. We have our biggest group ever at New Life Ranch – 144 students and 15 adults! Pray with us that this will be a meaningful time for them!


The final Friday of each month is a Spirit Wear Day for everyone (no coupon necessary). The Final Friday Spirit Wear Day for this month is next Friday, August 30th. Students may wear an ACA shirt or House shirt with blue jeans (in good repair). Those ordering new Spirit Wear shirts should receive them in time for the September Final Friday Spirit Wear Day.
