Attention AV Club Members: No meeting on Labor Day since there is no school for the holiday! Our next meeting will be Monday, September 9th at 3:45 p.m. in the Great Room.

The details are set and a full week of lunch options will begin NEXT WEEK! Please see the monthly order form attached below or pick one up in the school office. There are some new options this year and we are excited about sharing them with you! We are adding Foundations Restaurant on Tuesdays and they will provide a different menu each Tuesday. Tuesday lunches must be ordered in advance (the Thursday prior), so students will not be able to order on Tuesday mornings. Subway will be providing our Thursday lunches with a selection of sandwiches in various sizes. On Fridays we will be getting lunch items from Café 320 and they sound delicious. All of these new lunches will begin in September. Be sure to check out the lunch menu/order form below for all the new options and the pricing. You can use the monthly order form to pre-order as many or as few days in the month as you wish. The monthly order form is due in the school office TOMORROW, AUGUST 29TH.

WE WILL HAVE Freckles Frozen Custard this Friday, August 30. Frozen Custard is $1.25 per cup.

We are now taking orders for ACA Spirit Wear shirts! There are two colors to choose from and sizes from Y-XS to Adult 4XL! They cost just $12 (the plus sizes are $2 more). Order forms are due in the office by Monday, September 9th. You can pick up an order form in the school office and you will also find it attached below.

Camp Loughridge has invited the ACA “family” to a Family Fun Day at the camp on Sunday, September 15th, beginning at 2:30 p.m. The cost is $5 per person or $20 per family and includes: a dance presentation by the Living Water Dance troupe, fishing, canoes, martial arts demo, the giant swing, food & fellowship, and more! RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE IN THE SCHOOL OFFICE. Proceeds will benefit the camp’s scholarship fund for kids who can’t afford summer camp. For all the details, please see the flyer attached below!

Students in art classes at ACA are charged an art fee in lieu of parents hunting for all of the needed art supplies. The art fees are due by this Friday, August 30, and payment can be made in the school office.

We are now in the third week of school (time flies, doesn’t it?) and this is the last week for secondary students to make schedule changes. To make a schedule change, the student and parent must meet with Mr. Post.

If you ordered a DVD of this summer’s performance of Disney’s “101 Dalmatians”, you are now able to pick that up in the office. The cost is $10 and checks should be made payable to Kenneth Jones.

Do you (or someone you know) have any treated wood chips that could be donated for our playground? We have a few low spots that we need to fill! We want to avoid using the free wood chips from the city of Tulsa, because it is untreated and we don’t want to have any poison oak, bugs, etc. on our playground.

Parents, our Lost & Found has filled since students returned from New Life Ranch last week! If your child did not bring everything home, it is likely in the Lost & Found box or on the floor in the lobby waiting to be claimed. All unclaimed items will be cleared out on Friday and will be washed and donated to a worthy cause. Please have your student stop by the Lost & Found to take home your missing towel, bathing suit, water bottle, clothing, shoes, etc.

Our parent prayer group will not be meeting next week, September 4th, but they will be back on schedule on Wednesday, September 11th and they would LOVE to have you join them! They meet for one hour on Wednesday mornings at 8:15 a.m. in ACA’s Performing Arts Building. Whether you can come only once, occasionally, or every Wednesday they look forward to having you join them! No fancy clothes, make-up, or close shaves required!

Attention parents of high school students: If your student borrowed the Rhetoric Grammar book to study for the REME test, PLEASE return the book to the school office as soon as possible! The students taking the class need those books! Thanks so much!

The final Friday of each month is a Spirit Wear Day for everyone (no coupon necessary). The Final Friday Spirit Wear Day for this month is THIS FRIDAY, August 30th. Students may wear an ACA shirt or House shirt with blue jeans (in good repair). New students who don’t yet have a Spirit Wear shirt, may wear their polo shirt with blue jeans. (Those ordering new Spirit Wear shirts should receive them in time for the September Final Friday Spirit Wear Day.)
