Winter Court is a special annual event for ACA high school students designed to celebrate being part of the Kingdom of Christ and our unique relationship with each other as brothers and sisters in the Lord. The traditions of Winter Court are designed to remind us of our position in grace. Seniors are inducted into the New Order of Augustine and a King & Queen of Winter Court are crowned. This year Winter Court will be held on Friday, February 7th, in the Banquet Hall at Woodlake Assembly of God Church. The cost is $30 per student and tickets are on sale through next Wednesday, Feb. 5th.

All girls attending (students & alumni & guests) must have their dresses checked by Mrs. Brewer prior to purchasing tickets. All guests, including alumni, must submit a “Winter Court Guest Form” in order to purchase a ticket. The Guest Form is attached below.

School will dismiss at noon on February 7th (all grades) and there will be no lunch and no after school care.


Calling all Type-A or Marketing Type individuals. Our Spring Fundraiser is getting closer and we need to enlist a team of recruits to canvas restaurants, golf courses, and other businesses for door prizes. Dinners for two or gift cards from any type of retail or service organization are great door prize ideas. Tickets for shows or movies would also be a great idea. On Saturday, April 5th, we will be hosting a Trivia Night at the Skyline 60, located on the 60th floor of the Cityplex Towers. We want the evening to be as exciting as possible, hence the need for door prizes. Next time you go out to eat or out on the town, consider asking: “Would you be willing to make a contribution to our school’s Spring Fundraiser?” Donation receipts will be available for all contributions. The Performing Arts Booster Club fundraiser is underway! Each PABC family is asked to sell at least one box of 60 candy bars. If your student was in “It’s a Wonderful Life” or is in “Schoolhouse Rock”, you are a PABC family! Boxes may be checked out Wednesday, January 29, after school in the Great Room or from the office anytime.

Each box of 60 candy bars is a variety box containing five different types of chocolate bars and each one sells for only $1.00. There are prizes for the top sellers and your family may check out more than one box. You will have a little over three weeks to sell, with proceeds being due back to the school office by Friday, February 21. When returning payment for the chocolate bars, please bring a check to the school instead of cash!

Send your love in a song! The ACA Ladies Show Choir will be doing Singing Valentines again this year! For as little as $25 the Show Choir will: serenade your loved one, present a personalized card, & deliver a rose. “Phone-a-Gram” Singing Valentines will also be available for your loved ones who live outside the Tulsa area. See the order form attached below for more information!


Mr. Post & Miss Rogers taught the junior high students how to make giant 3-D snowflakes for Winter Court. We are having a contest for those students in grades 6-12 who would like to be even more creative. Students may alter the basic pattern to create something truly beautiful and unique. The snowflakes will be judged, and the one deemed best will receive a $10 prize. Snowflakes must be brought to the office by Monday, February 3rd. Students should put the snowflakes in a bag with their name on it (DO NOT put a name on the snowflake itself). Winner will be announced that week, and all the snowflakes will be displayed at Winter Court on Feb. 7th.


The monthly lunch order form for February is now available in the school office and is attached below. Students ordering for the month should turn in their forms and payment by January 31. Students may still order each morning, the monthly order form is for your convenience.


This Friday is the final Friday in January and therefore is a Spirit Wear Day for everyone! No coupon is necessary!


Our Spring Portrait Day is coming soon – February 14th! Students do not have to wear their school uniform in their spring portraits, but MUST change into their uniform immediately after having their portrait taken.
