Our full line up of vender lunches begins NEXT WEEK!  Older elementary students and secondary students will order in their first hour class, but young elementary students must order at the office window.  We are offering “Lunch Ledgers” again this year.  Parents may set up a ledger page in the office for your students to use for lunch purchases.  Our venders this year include Chick-fil-A, Subway, Cici’s, and Freckles.  Attached below is the monthly lunch order form for the month of September.  The menu for next week will be the same as the fourth week on the monthly order form.  Please call the office if you have any questions about our lunches or ordering lunches for your students.



The House leaders and sponsors left today after school for New Life Ranch.  Tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. over 120 additional students and adults will board busses to join them for the annual Charger Round Table.  This two day event sets the tone for the rest of the school year for our secondary school students and staff.  Please pray with us that they will all have a safe and enjoyable time there. 



Former ACA parent, Eric Raines, passed away suddenly last Saturday evening.  Eric was the father of three ACA alumni – Brinton (2006), Connor (2013), and Noah (2014) and the son of ACA maintenance man Mr. Doy Raines.  He served for several years on the ACA Board of Governors, was the first president of the Performing Arts Booster Club, and participated in the Christmas Madrigal, Christmas Celebrations, and even a talent show.  Eric was a blessing to the ACA family and will be so missed.  The funeral service will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church, 625 S. Broadway, Skiatook, OK on Saturday morning, August 23, at 10:00 a.m.  Please remember this family in your prayers.



We need you!  We need you join us to pray for just one hour a week, on Wednesday mornings, from 8:15-9:15.  We pray for our children, our school, and our families; so it is an opportunity to make one hour in your week have an eternal impact!  Please join us in the PAB on Wednesday morning at 8:15 every week, once a month, or even only a couple of times a year!  If you have any questions, call Carmen Applebaum at 918-720-9922.  See you there!



Just a reminder that student art fees are due by August 29th.  The art fee for K4 – 5th grade is $10, for Junior High Art class $30, and for Studio Art $35.  These fees should be paid in the school office.  Art teacher, Mrs. Linda Thornhill, is able to purchase supplies for the art classes in bulk at a more reasonable cost than it would be for parents to hunt down the supplies needed.  Thank you for your help in getting your art fees in on time!



Rochelle Collingsworth is the new Augustine Guidance Counselor!  She is happy to be on campus this year and is looking forward to getting to know the students and families of ACA!   She will be visiting with the seniors and juniors very soon!  Mrs. Collingsworth will also start visiting with the freshmen and sophomores and discussing with them some things that they need to be thinking about, but the seniors and juniors have a more urgent timeline in the near future.  

The first ACT and SAT tests for this school year are happening soon!  The first National ACT date is September 13th.  The regular registration deadline for this date has already passed, but the late registration period is still available until August 22nd.  There is a late fee that will be assessed, however, should you choose to test on this date.  The next ACT date is October 25th and the registration deadline for it is September 19th.  Register online at  

The first SAT test of the year is scheduled on October 11th.  The regular registration deadline for this test is September 12th.  Register online at
