Plan to come and chill with the ACA Senior class on Friday, October 24th, and enjoy delicious chili, fun music, and a dessert auction. Admission is $5.00 and includes a bowl of chili… AND you can have “all you can eat” chili for only $3 more!  You’ll have to bid on your dessert during the dessert auction, but there will be so many delicious choices (cakes, Oreo balls, brownies, cup cakes, & more!).  Join us for the fun and support the Class of 2015!  This event will be held in the Performing Arts Building and doors will open at 6:00 p.m.

We need some volunteer parents to come and help us this Saturday, October 25th, from 9:00 - 2:00 as we work to complete the set pieces and props for the production of “Oklahoma!”.  We can use 20 or more people as we have lots of big and little things to get accomplished!  Opening night is coming up fast!  Cast parents can earn up to 5 volunteer hours in just one day! High school students not involved in play practice are welcome to come help with the set!

Attached below is the monthly lunch order form for November.  If you are ordering for the month, please bring your order form and payment to the school office by Friday, October 31st.  Students may still order each day in their 1st hour class or before school at the office window. Elementary students in grades K4 - 2nd should always place their daily orders at the office window.

On Monday, October 27, we will have our monthly Salt & Light Chapel for our Secondary students.  The special speaker this month will be Mrs. Deborah Spencer who will be sharing about a ministry she works with called “Sister India”.  Students MUST wear their High Convocation uniforms and there will be a slightly different class schedule to allow our speaker additional time.  Please see the adjusted class schedule attached below.

Our annual Junior High level Grailball tournament has begun!  What?  You haven’t heard of Grailball???  It’s an exciting and fast paced  game that’s played exclusively at ACA and was created several years ago by ACA alum Lauren Post.  Parents are invited to come and watch the games which are played on the small field at the back of the ACA parking lot (behind the Sherwin Williams building).  Watch The Charger Newsletter to see which teams are playing on which days.  The high school tournament will take place in the spring.
