The Charger Newsletter


Several new ACA families are receiving the Charger Newsletter for the first time this week!  We want to say “Welcome!  We are happy to have you joining our “ACA family”!”  Please email the school office at [email protected] if you have any questions about something you see in the newsletter.



The secondary class schedule for 2015-2016 is attached below.  Mr. Post and Mrs. Cathey have put together a projected schedule for each student, based on their chosen diploma track, so that every student will have the classes/credits they will need to graduate.  They also created a projected schedule for each of the full-time junior high students.  These schedules are being emailed to parents.  Please look the schedule over with your student and if changes need to be made or elective classes added, please call the office for an appointment or email changes/requests to: [email protected]   If you do not receive a schedule for your student by June 22 or if you need to schedule an appointment to meet with Mr. Post about your student’s schedule, please call the school office.  Parents of part-time students should email Mrs. Cathey and let her know the classes your student will be taking this coming year.


Many secondary students’ email passwords were mistakenly reset to a default password a couple of weeks ago.  Please let your secondary student know that if their email password isn’t working, they should try the default which is their last name & 123 (for example: post123, ahrens123) and then they should change it to the password of their choice.  Also make sure to access ACA email from the ACA web site at the bottom of the Current Families page.  If your secondary student still cannot sign into their email account, please contact Mrs. Cathey in the school office.


The FACTS monthly payment forms for the 2015-2016 school year are available in the school office.  If you are planning to pay your tuition next year with the monthly payment option of FACTS automatic withdrawals, please stop by the school office and pick up the payment form.  Forms need to be returned to the office at least three weeks prior to the first payment.


The School Calendar for 2015-2016 has been completed and you will find it attached below.  You will see that the school year is full of events and activities… and the calendar doesn’t even include every field trip, House trip, etc!  You will want to print out the calendar for future reference, but pay special attention to the dates listed in August!  :-)


Has your student outgrown his slacks?  Is her polo shirt too small?  Is it time to replace worn out uniform pieces?  ACA might be able to help you out!  We will have a Uniform Consignment Shop this summer!  If you have uniform pieces (in good condition) to sell, you can bring those items to the school.  These items can either be donated to ACA to sell, or you can tag them with your name and the amount you would like to sell them for and we will add them to the shop.  Please see the sales tags attached below.

The Uniform Consignment Shop will be open June 15-18, July 6-9, and August 3-7 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for shopping.  Uniform pieces for sale can be dropped off at the school office any Monday - Thursday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  (NOTE: $1.00 for each consigned uniform piece sold will go to ACA.  Any consigned items not sold must be picked up the first week of school in August, or will be considered as donated to ACA.)




The ACA office is now on a Summer Schedule.  The office will be open Monday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.  The office will be closed on Fridays throughout June & July.  If you need to reach someone outside of office hours, please email [email protected] .  




Don’t forget to keep turning in your Box Tops for Education and your Campbell’s Labels for Education!  Find a container to keep them in over the summer so you can turn them in again when school starts in August!  Attached below is a list of products that have Box Tops on them.  To find out which products have Labels for Education, visit this link:
