K4 KINDER-PREP PROGRAM
We need more students in our NEW KINDER-PREP program! We have made changes to the tuition options for this four year old program:
Full-time Mon. - Fri. $5250 (less than $150 per week)
3 Day Program M/W/F $3600 (only $100 per week)
2 Day Program T/Th $2700 (only $75 per week)
PLUS each of the above options will include after school extended care for no additional charge! (Kinder-Prep students only)

NEW AFTER SCHOOL EXTENDED DAY PROGRAM
We are making some big changes to our after school program! This new program will begin the first day of school, so please take a look at the program handbook attached below for registration information.
MIRACLE WORK DAY
Our teachers report back to school on Monday and we need some help getting the building ready for them… so we are asking for help from our high school students! Tomorrow, Thursday, we are having a work day beginning at 9:00 a.m. and going until about 3:00 p.m. (unless we can get everything done earlier!). A pizza lunch will be provided AND each student will earn DOUBLE COMMUNITY SERVICE POINTS for their House! Parents, please let your high school student know about this volunteer opportunity!
PARENT ORIENTATION NIGHTS
Parent orientation for those with students in grades 6 - 12 will be held on Thursday evening, August 6th beginning at 6:30 p.m. Parent orientation for those with students in grades K4 - 5th grade will be held on Friday evening, August 7th beginning at 6:30 p.m. Parents should make every effort to attend! Students are not required to attend since they will have their own orientation on the first day of school.
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
The first day of school is Monday, August 10th, beginning at 8:00 a.m. ALL STUDENTS must attend the first day of school including part-time students. The morning will be an orientation time which will include school rules & dress code, locker assignments, House meetings, yearbook distribution, emergency procedures, etc. The secondary students lunch time will be from noon to 12:30, after which the MWF classes will each meet for a short time. Part-time students who only have classes on T/Th may be picked up between 12:00 & 12:30. Part-time students who have MWF classes should stay to attend those classes. All students should bring their lunch with them as no lunches will be offered that day.
THE HILLS ARE ALIVE WITH “THE SOUND OF MUSIC”
Attention ALL High School Students and Parents: The Sound of Music Audition Workshop (complimentary) will be held on FRIDAY, AUGUST 14, 4:00 pm – 8:30 pm WITH A REQUIRED PARENT MEETING FOLLOWING THE WORKSHOP. (The workshop includes a light dinner). EVERY HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT IS URGED TO COME OUT FOR THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THIS EXCITING MUSICAL. NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NEEDED! Actual auditions will be held the following week! There a tons of parts for guys (German Storm Troopers, Navy Sergeants, 3 lead rolls, Guests at a fancy party and more). SCHOOL SUPPLY LISTS
The sales are going on now! Attached below you will find the school supply list for Grammar School students (grades K4 - 5th) and Secondary students (grades 6 - 12). Please call the school office if you have any questions about the lists.
POSITION OPEN ON PERFORMING ARTS ADVISORY BOARD
We have 2 open positions (or the same person can do both jobs) for a CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN for the set of “The Sound of Music” (a more detailed set) and the Jr. Musical (in the spring – a much easier set). We are looking for a dad(s) with building and supervisory experience to assist our Stage Craft Class with the building process. This is a paid position (performing arts fees and hours trade-off). One dad can do both jobs (a great position for a family with multiple children in our musicals), one dad for each musical, or if you are a parent or family/friend of the school who is interested in this position, we are open for a bid. The FACTS monthly payment forms for the 2015-2016 school year are available in the school office. If you are planning to pay your tuition next year with the monthly payment option of FACTS automatic withdrawals, please stop by the school office and pick up the payment form (or ask us to mail you one). Forms need to be returned to the office at least three weeks prior to the first payment.
2015-2016 SCHOOL CALENDAR
The School Calendar for 2015-2016 is attached below. You will see that the school year is full of events and activities… and the calendar doesn’t even include every field trip, House trip, etc! You will want to print out the calendar for future reference, but pay special attention to the dates listed in August! :-)
UNIFORM CONSIGNMENT SHOP
We have had a Uniform Consignment Shop this summer and next week is the last week! If you have uniform pieces (in good condition) to sell, you can bring those items to the school. These items can either be donated to ACA to sell, or you can tag them with your name and the amount you would like to sell them for and we will add them to the shop. Please see the sales tags attached below.
The Uniform Consignment Shop will be open August 3-7 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for shopping. Uniform pieces for sale can be dropped off at the school office this Thursday & Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (NOTE: $1.00 for each consigned uniform piece sold will go to ACA. Any consigned items not sold must be picked up the first week of school in August, or will be considered as donated to ACA.)
ACA OFFICE HOURS
The office will be open Monday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. We will return to regular office hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) beginning August 10th, the first day of school. If you need to reach someone outside of office hours, please email [email protected] .
