Monday, November 2nd marks the end of this year’s Carry the Light fundraiser. I want to thank all of you for all you have done to assist us with our Serve-A-Thon, Operation Christmas Child project, and the letters to our servicemen. As a reminder, for those who have committed to OPT OUT instead of mailing the letters, please submit those funds by Monday as well.  Students will be receiving their prizes soon!  Again, thank you for all you have done to make this a successful venture. We will let everyone know our totals and I will make sure all families receive a list of their donors so that the students can mail out thank you letters. We will also be sending each of the donors their tax receipts during the first few weeks of November.


Tickets for our fall musical “The Sound of Music” are going fast!  The Thursday and Friday performances are sold out!  However there are still tickets available for the Saturday and Sunday performances.  Tickets cost $10 for adults and $7.00 for students.  The performances of “The Sound of Music” will be:

Thursday, November 12th at 7:00 p.m.

Friday, November 13th at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, November 14th at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Sunday, November 15th at 3:00 p.m.

Get your tickets this week, before they are all gone!


Regardless of the weather, the Grammar School will be going to the pumpkin patch this Friday.  Shepherd’s Cross has assured us that they will have plenty of fun indoor projects planned if the weather is less than perfect.


The Class of 2016 wants to thank everyone who came to their Chili Dinner and Dessert Auction.  The Chili Cook-off winners were:

2nd Place: Miss Crow, teacher

3rd Place: Dustin Cagle, senior

Attached below is the lunch order form for the month of November.  Order forms and payment should be turned in at the office by October 30th if ordering for the month.  Students may still order first thing in the morning at the office or in their classroom.  This monthly order form is just for your convenience.


Attached below you will find an order form for an ACA t-shirt.  It isn’t a House shirt or a Grammar School shirt… it’s an Augustine Christian Academy shirt.  They are available in youth and adult sizes (including XL sizes) and they would make GREAT Christmas gifts! Order forms and payment are due in the office by November 23rd.


This Friday is the final Friday in October and therefore is Final Friday Spirit Wear Day for everyone.  No coupon required!


The Rhetoric English Mastery Exam is being offered on Wednesday, November 4th, at 3:45 p.m. for students who need to pass it for graduation.  Students should sign up in the office to take it, or sign up by email at: [email protected]


Compassion International has a traveling exhibit coming to the Tulsa Mabee Center parking lot this weekend, October 30th- November 2nd.  The entire family is invited to the event, with candy handed out to younger children at the end of the tour. This is a great opportunity for families to experience the heartbeat of missions together, without having to travel to another country.  Compassion has invested into this state-of-the-art traveling exhibit, authentically created to tell the stories of their Compassion-sponsored children around the world.
