Chances are they have a seat available at their table with your name on it for TRIVIA NIGHT! We would really love to see you, and a few of your friends, on Saturday, February 27th, at 7:00 p.m. sharp. We are excited to be hosting our Third Annual Trivia Night and Auction Fundraiser! This year, Mr. Post will be sharing the vision of the school and our plans for the years to come. This event will be held at the Junior League of Tulsa located at 3633 S. Yale Ave., immediately adjacent to The Little Light House. Tables will be decorated in themes (and some of our evening’s participants will be in full costume!) and there will be awards given for originality and design. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. for table hosts to decorate their tables and the Trivia rounds will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m.

Sweet & Salty snacks will be provided by some of our favorite places!  McAlister’s is providing tea, Freckles is providing custard cups, Marco’s Pizza is providing cinnamon as well as cheesy breadsticks, Farrell Family Bread is providing brownies, and we have a few more restaurants who may yet say yes!

Trivia Categories will include:

Trivia Americana

Game Rules, and if time allows…

World Capitals

Our Grammar Classes and Secondary Houses will be competing for Best Gift Basket for the Auction phase of the evening. PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHMENT BELOW FOR SEVERAL OF THE ITEMS THAT WILL BE AVAILABLE DURING THE AUCTION!  We are still in need of a few more auction item donations, so let us know if you can assist us in securing donations.

Join a table and get to know a few more ACA people! Contact Mr. John Ahrens at: [email protected] and we can find you just the right seat at a FUN table!

Calling all girls at ACA who might be interested in checking out what American Heritage Girls can offer you. ACA is the official sponsor for AHG Troop OK0002 and we have many ACA girls who are a part of the troop. They meet on Mondays, right after school in the PAB and in a few rooms of our main building. The troop would love to see more ACA students involved in learning these great life skills. They are also looking at growing their volunteer parent roster and have a few key positions currently open for the coming year. Please review the attached booklet and if you are interested in more information, please reach out to troop coordinator, Susan Collier at [email protected] or one of the many AHG families you may know.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who has brought in Box Tops - our most recent check from General Mills was for $716.20!  Those little Box Tops can really add up!  Another Thank You to those who use their Target credit card and have designated ACA to receive 1% back from their purchases - just this week we received a check for $590.61 from Target’s Take Charge of Education program!  We really appreciate your participation in these ongoing fundraisers!

Campbells is making a change and after this school year they will be discontinuing their Labels for Education program.  For ACA that means that we have one more chance to turn in labels for credit toward classroom supplies!  If you have been saving Campbells labels, please bring those to the school office by March 31st so we can get them turned in to Campbells before the end of the school year.

Our regular office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day that school is in session. If you need to reach someone outside of office hours, please email [email protected] .
