SHOW CHOIR RETREAT
Show Choir Girls and Parents: Here is the information on your retreat. Mrs. Post will also email this information to the email address you provided on your application:
✤ Meet at school Thursday, July 28, in PAB at or before 12:30pm.
✤ You can only bring ONE overnight bag (we have a space crunch – please pack sacrificially!)
✤ We are leaving at or close to 1:00pm.
✤ Cost is $100 (make check payable to ACA). If you paid your $50 deposit earlier this year, your cost will be $50. You can check with Becki in the school office to verify your deposit.
✤ We will be staying at the Rowland family’s cabin near Tahlequah.
✤ We will return between 12:30 and 1:00pm on Saturday, July 30th.

DISNEY’S “BEAUTY & THE BEAST”
We are so excited about this year’s fall musical for our high school students - Disney’s “Beauty & the Beast”. Listed below is some important information for both parents and students:
The free audition workshop for high school students is Friday, August 19th, from 3:30 – 9:00 pm. ALL high school students, full-time and part-time, are encouraged to attend this workshop! There will be a required parent meeting from 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm on August 19th or on Sunday, August 21st, from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Parents MUST attend one of these two meetings in order for your student to audition. Auditions will be held on Sunday, August 21st (2:00 pm) or Monday, August 22nd (3:30 pm).
Perspective Cast: Students are required to watch the following videos, The making of Beauty and the Beast, one is of London Theatre, the other is Broadway. Both are a must for cast members BEFORE they audition. https://youtu.be/cX5NALmS9aY https://youtu.be/iG3dVicuz1Q. Of course, students can feel free to start doing research on their own. You can also find both the Broadway and London Cast Soundtracks on youtube.

UNIFORM RE-SALE SHOP
Parents, if you have gently used uniform items you would like to sell, you are welcome to bring them to the school! Items must be tagged with your name and price you are asking for the item. (tags are attached below for your convenience) The school will retain $1 for each item you sell. Any uniform items not sold must be picked up prior to the first day of school! Checks for items sold will be sent out during the first or second week of school.
If your student needs uniform items for the coming school year, please check out the gently used uniform items for sale in the school lobby before you go to C & J Uniforms for new items. We have polo shirts, oxford shirts, slacks, skirts, blazers, fleece jackets, and even some spirit wear shirts!
If you have friends or family thinking about enrolling their students at ACA, remind them that school begins on August 15th, and there is a very good chance that some of our classes will close. The sooner they begin the enrollment process, the better! Thanks for recommending ACA to your friends.
School supplies for K4 - 5th Grade are included in your tuition costs for 2016-2017. So are your student’s art fees, if they are in K4 - 5th grade! The enrollment contract mentions it, but you may not have noticed it on there. Secondary students must still purchase their school supplies. The secondary school supply list is attached below. Please remember that not everything on the secondary supply list is required for every class.

The school calendar for the coming year is attached below and available on the school website. Make sure to note the dates of Parent Orientation and the first day of school! Please note that the first day of school is a Student Orientation Day for ALL students - including part-time students.
