Get ready! Tickets go on sale to the public on Thursday, October 13th! Ticket prices are $10 per adult and $7 for children/students .
EARLY TICKET SALES FOR CAST PARENTS will be Monday - Wednesday, October 10th – 12th (NOTE: All cast fees need to be paid by these dates to receive your 10% discount for up to 10 tickets.) Tickets WILL sell out so get your tickets early. Tickets may be purchased through the school office.
“BEAUTY AND THE BEAST” POSTERS AND POSTCARDS ARE AVAILABLE! Please help us get the word out. We have beautiful Posters that need to be placed in our community. If you can place one in your business, church, studio, store, etc, please pick up one or two from the office. We also have postcards that you can distribute to family and friends. These are also available in the school office.
CALLING ALL CARPENTERS FOR THE SET OF “BEAUTY AND THE BEAST” Mr. Pirtle needs assistance in building the West and East Wings of our set. TWO Workdays have been set: this Friday, Oct. 7th 4:00-8:00 pm and next Saturday, Oct. 15, 1:00-5:00 pm. Mr. Pirtle will also be available on the 7th earlier in the afternoon if there are parents who would like to come earlier (after 1:00 p.m.). Please help us finish the set if you have a couple of hours you can volunteer. If you have questions, please contact the school office.
YEARBOOK PURCHASE INFORMATION
Parents: you need to order yearbooks this year! (if you don’t order one, you won’t have one)
Order as many as you like! (one for each student, or one per family – it’s your choice) The yearbook will be delivered and distributed in May this year!

“A Taste of Broadway” – FRIDAY, OCTOBER 14TH, 7:00 p.m. in the ACA GREAT ROOM.
Come to our first “Little Theatre” production on Friday, October 14th, at 7:00 pm, for a “Taste of Broadway” featuring ACA’s 2016-2017 Show Choir.
Our Show Choir will entertain you with a variety of Broadway numbers from the past and the present including classic medleys from “Mama Mia” and “Into the Woods”, as well as numbers from “42nd Street”, “Singing in the Rain”, “Wonderful Guy”, and “Les Miserables”. As an added bonus, our audience will receive a “sneak peak” number from our upcoming fall production of “Beauty and the Beast”. As you can see, this first Little Theatre is going to give you a great taste of Broadway fun and entertainment. Tickets are only $3 at the door for all ages. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Seating is limited! And don’t forget to purchase a snack from our concession stand, which will be open at 6:30 pm.
STATE FAIR DISCOUNT COUPONS
We have Tulsa State Fair discount coupons available in the school office. The coupon is good for a $2.00 Gate Admission for students age 5 - 18 on Monday - Friday. Students must enter the fair before 6:00 p.m. to use the coupon.
Attention Parents of Seniors: We will be hosting our 2nd Annual FAFSA Night next Friday night, October 7th, from 7:00pm - 9:30pm, in the ACA computer lab. Bobbi McKinney, financial aid representative from NSU, will be coming again this year to help senior families complete their FAFSA. If you would like to come and get this great help, please contact Mrs. Collingsworth at [email protected] to reserve a spot. For those of you who are filing a FAFSA for the first time this year, Mrs. Collingsworth would highly encourage you to come. It is nice to know that you are completing things accurately with someone who knows how to help you when you have questions.
Ms. McKinney asks that you come with your FSA ID already created. This will be your unique username and password that you set up online. Both you and your senior will need your own FSA IDs. You should have received information on how to create these at the senior meeting with Mrs. Cathey a couple of weeks ago (right before College Night).
You should also bring a copy of your 2015 tax returns. These are what you filed this past April. You will be using this information to complete your FAFSA. As I hope you’ve heard many times by now, the FAFSA now will require using Prior Prior Year tax information. This will be really helpful as you won’t have to wait on tax information at the beginning of next year. Your senior can apply for colleges and submit the FAFSA during the same time frame. ALADDIN DVD’S ARE HERE!
If you ordered a dvd of the Summer Week of the Arts production of “Disney’s Aladdin, Jr.” you can pick that up in the school office. The cost is only $10 and checks can be made out to ACA. If you ordered a photo cd, we also have those in the office. The photo cd’s are $15 and checks should be made out to Nick Conroy.
ACA participates in a few fundraisers that are easy to participate in and they go throughout the year!
Office Depot has their 5% Back to Schools Program and will send us a gift card each quarter based upon how many customers credit their purchases to ACA. When making a purchase, just tell them that you want our school to get credit. Our school number is: 70120398 (which you can put in your phone and have it with you!) or the store can look us up. Boxtops for Education are found on many products that we all purchase every week and those little coupons are worth cash to our school. Please make it a habit to cut out or tear off those Boxtops and bring them to the school office. See the list of Boxtop products attached below!
