The Charger Newsletter

Just a reminder that our Trivia Night fundraiser will take place at 6:30 p.m. this Saturday, February 25th, at the Tulsa Country Club, 701 N. Union Ave., Tulsa. We are looking forward to a great night of fun and fellowship as we kick off our 20th Year Celebration!  Please contact Mr. John Ahrens if you have any questions - [email protected] .

Our guest speaker for this month’s Salt & Light chapel on Monday, February 27th is Pulitzer-nominated author and inspirational speaker, Clifton Taulbert. As President of two local companies, Roots Java Coffee and Freemount Corporation, Mr. Taulbert serves on many local boards. He has lectured before international corporate leaders, was invited to speak before the United States Supreme Court, and we look forward to the message he is planning to share with our students. As always, parents are more than welcome to join us. Our Salt & Light chapel begins at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude at 10:00.  The secondary class schedule will be adjusted to allow extra time for chapel - please see the adjusted class schedule attached below.  Students must wear High Convocation uniforms on Monday.

Our 5th grade class is planning a trip to the Cosmosphere!  To help with the cost of their trip, they are sponsoring a Spirit Wear Week the week of March 6 - 10.  To participate in this Spirit Wear Week, students must purchase a wristband and wear it during the week of March 6 - 10.  Wristbands will be for sale next week, Feb. 27 - March 3, before school in the Great Room (from Mrs. Woods) and during lunch time (from Mrs. Bailey).  Wristbands cost $10 for the whole week of spirit wear, or $5 for two days of spirit wear (MW or T/Th).  Contact Mrs. Woods with questions.

The monthly lunch order forms for March are now available in the school office and are attached below.  If you are ordering for the month, please turn in your order form and payment to the school office by Friday, February 24th.  Please note that February 27 & 28 are on the March order form.

This time of the year is a notorious season for flu, colds, sinus infections, and overall yuckiness. We ask that you remember the school policy. If your student has diarrhea, vomiting, and/or fever they are not allowed at school. The student must remain home until free of those symptoms for a full 24 hours.  We appreciate your help with this as we would like to keep our students and staff healthy!

The dvd’s of our fall production of Disney’s “Beauty & the Beast” are now available in the school office.  If you pre-paid for your dvd, it has already been delivered to your student.  If you did not pre-pay, the cost is $20 each.  We also still have dvd’s of last year’s productions of “The Sound of Music” and “Seussical” available for $20 each.

Ordering a yearbook is easy!  Go to and enter our school’s code:  1014725638033905.

You will have the option to personalize two pages of the yearbook for your student.  These pages will only appear in your child’s book and can cover any family or personal memories from the year.  (Yearbook Staff will review pages for appropriate content.)  You can come back to this step later - just remember your log-in information!

Yearbooks will be delivered at senior graduation in May! Don’t miss out!  Only $35.00, but yearbooks must be pre-ordered.

Our school office hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  If you need to reach someone outside of office hours, please email [email protected] .
