The Charger Newsletter

Our Summer Weeks of the Arts Week Two is next week and there will be 46 students here every day working hard on the music, choreography, and lines for “Sleeping Beauty”.  They will be performing the musical on Friday evening, June 16, at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 17, at 10:30 a.m.

Cast members will get 2 tickets free and additional tickets will cost $3.00 each.  Cast parents be sure to pick up your tickets on Tuesday, June 13, because on Wednesday, June 14, ticket sales open to the public!

All tickets are $3.00 and if you would like to join us for “Sleeping Beauty”, next weekend, be sure to stop by the school and get your tickets next Wednesday, June 14.  There are a limited number of tickets and when they are gone, they are gone!

Attached below you will find the School Calendar for 2017-2018 which shows all of the school breaks & early dismissal days, dates for the musicals, Little Theater nights, Trivia Night, graduations, Grandparents Day, etc.  Of course there will be some additional events and activities added throughout the year, so be sure to check your Charger Newsletter every week during the school year to stay on top of the happenings at ACA!

At ACA, there are always little (or big!) projects around campus that need attention. For that reason, we have developed a page on our website that will be dedicated to our current and upcoming projects. We will keep this page updated to let you know when a project is nearing or has achieved full funding and other progress made. We thank you in advance for your desire to continually assist us in improving our campus for your children and grandchildren. If you know of someone we should contact for financial assistance, can assist in acquiring grant monies, or if you work for a company that will match your financial gift, please reach out to Mr. Ahrens at [email protected]   You will find this new project page at: or from the home page, hover over the “Support ACA” tab and this new page will be in the drop down menu.

If you ordered a DVD or a photo cd of “Willy Wonka”, those are now available in the school office for pick-up. They are $20 each.  Check out the trailer for the dvd here:

We are excited to say that we have a number of new families interviewing and enrolling – but it is our intention to make sure that we have space for our returning students as well!  While we always intend to give ample time for re-enrollment decisions, we know that sometimes those details get lost in the activities of summer.  If you have not yet turned in your enrollment form, we want to encourage you to re-enroll as quickly as possible - before you leave for vacations this summer.  New and returning families - be sure to let your friends know about your school choice, a classical model that comes alongside Christian parents who seek to train their children to think and reason from a distinctly Christian worldview.

If you are planning to pay tuition monthly through FACTS, please stop by the office and pick up a FACTS payment form, or call the office and we can mail one to you .  Also, please remember that if you received financial assistance for this school year, you must still apply for financial assistance for next year.  Please call the school office with any questions concerning tuition payments.

Enrollment for the 2017-18 Extended Day Program is now open to all ACA families.  Please see the information and registration form attached below.

Our school office hours during the summer are 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.  Fridays are by appointment only as the office will normally be closed on Friday during the summer.  The office will also be closed on July 3rd & 4th for Independence Day.  If you need to reach someone outside of office hours, please email [email protected] .
