We have tickets still available!  You won’t want to miss this holiday favorite! It is a ghost of a tale and you will NOT be disappointed in ACA’s production of this classic Dicken’s Carol.  Adults $10, Students/Children $7. Concessions will be sold at each performance.

Production dates and times are:

November 9, 10, & 11 at 7:00 pm

November 11 at 2:00 pm

November 12 at 3:00 pm

Please note: if you are attending the Thursday evening performance of “A Christmas Carol”, parking will not be available in the Shriner’s parking lot.  They also have an event on Thursday evening and need their parking spaces for their members.


Next Wednesday, November 15th, we will offer a Baked Potato Lunch instead of the Nibbler Boxes. Students will have to order their baked potato on Monday or Tuesday so that we will be able to supply enough baked potatoes.  Prices will be:

1. Choose the size of Potato: Full Potato $2.50     1⁄2 Potato $1.75

2. Choose toppings (free):
 Salt/Pepper    Butter    Sour Cream

3. Add more toppings: Bacon Pieces $.50     Cheese $.50

    Chili  $.75      Salsa $.50

The NEW Performing Arts stadium seat cushions are now on sale! They are black, with a pocket, and have the Performing Arts logo and mission statement on the seat. The cushions sell for $12 or you can rent one at a music event for $4 (based on availability). Support the arts. Purchase one of these beautiful seat cushions. If you attend our performances, they are a GREAT investment! There are less than 200 available, and when they are gone, we will not reorder until next fall. You may purchase yours from the office or you can purchase them at one of the performances of “A Christmas Carol” in November.


House members were given forms to take home for their parents to sign concerning their attendance at our annual Christmas Quilt program.  Students who return their forms to their House sponsor or the school office by Monday, November 13, will receive a Spirit Wear coupon.  If your secondary student has misplaced their form, you will find it attached below.  Mark your calendars now for the Christmas Quilt program on Friday, December 8th!


This year we are offering a special limited edition t-shirt of “A Christmas Carol”. The shirts are charcoal gray, with glow in the dark light green outlines and writing. It features the ghost of Marley’s face on the shirt with the words “It’s Not Too Late”. The shirts are $15 for sizes AS - AXL and $18 for 2X and 3X shirts. There are only 10 shirts available in each size S - 2x and 3 shirts size 3xl. They will be for sale at the performances of “A Christmas Carol” and in the school office… get yours while there is still time!  


Did you miss the 15% off sale on yearbooks?  Don’t fret too much!  If you order your yearbook in October, you will get 10% off the regular price of $35!

Each person who purchases a yearbook will get to personalize two pages in their yearbook with their own photos, quotes, & memories of the year.  (you can purchase additional pages to personalize at a very minimal cost)  This is such a fun way to make the yearbook truly yours!


The East Coast travelers are starting a fundraiser with “Fun Pasta”. We are excited to sell Fun Pasta because there is a large selection of items, great price points, and fun products for everyone. These can be great Christmas gifts too! The link below will take you to our page. When you go to check out you may choose to support just one student or the entire group.

We thank you for your supporting our students’ field study opportunity. This field study will take our students to Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Washington D. C. and Williamsburg/Jamestown. They will have the chance to see history come to life and hopefully gain a deeper appreciation for this amazing country we live in. We would also welcome donations toward the costs of the trip!  Any gift large or small will go a long way.  Thank you for considering a purchase of Fun Pasta!

An entire week of Spirit Wear?  YES!  The 8th Grade class will be sponsoring a Spirit Wear Week December 4th - 8th.  To participate in Spirit Wear Week, students must purchase a wristband to wear during the Spirit Wear week and the wristbands will be for sale the week of Nov. 27 - Dec. 1.  A wristband for the whole week will cost $10, or a wristband for two days only will cost $5.  The proceeds will go toward the 8th Grade Trip in the spring.


We are on a campaign to make sure the “best-kept secret in Tulsa” is no longer a secret! Help us promote ACA via social media with your photos and content ideas. Mrs. Aspenson and Mrs. Bailey are heading up this social media campaign using Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.  Remember to LIKE and SHARE our stories and pictures that show up in your feed. Thank you for helping!  Please see the attached flyer for the “how to” information and help us get the word out!


We are providing an opportunity for our students to write Thank You notes to Veterans to be distributed at the Veterans Day parade.  If your student would like to participate, please have them drop off their notes/cards in the school office by 3:15 on November 9th.


The dvd’s from our summer production of Disney’s “Sleeping Beauty, Kids” is now available in the school office.  If you ordered a “Sleeping Beauty” dvd or photo cd, please stop by the office and pick it up.


Join a group of ACA moms to pray for our school, our kids, our teachers & administration, and our families.  They will be meeting on Thursday mornings at 8:15 in room 104 (off of the Great Room across from the 2nd grade classroom).  There are no commitments… just come when you are able to join them!  If you arrive early (before 8:00) you can grab a cup of coffee in the school lobby!


Join us each morning when dropping off your child(ren) for school. Take an extra few minutes to park and start your day with some great fellowship as well as a great cup of Java Dave’s coffee. We have been enjoying these mornings with our teachers and parents and we would love to see you there. The coffee bar is open in the lobby between 7:30 - 8:00 a.m. each morning.
