ENROLLMENT & FINANCIAL AID
Re-enrollment information and contracts have been sent out to our current families. To hold your student’s place in their grade, please turn in your enrollment contract by March 30th. We are already receiving enrollment applications from new students and will begin their enrollment process in March, so don’t delay!
The FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment program will open applications for financial assistance on Thursday, March 1st for the 2018-2019 school year. Financial assistance is always available for our families as needed. We understand that private education is a sacrifice. For that reason, we want to make sure our tuition is one of the lowest in the greater Tulsa area. We also do what we can to assist those for whom a private Classical Christian Education might otherwise not be possible. If you know of a family whom you feel should consider ACA, please encourage them to set up a time to tour or shadow in the very near future. Don’t let financial circumstances impede a family from an introduction to ACA. And please remember that if you have received financial aid this year, you must still apply for financial aid for the 2018-2019 school year.
CHANGE TO FACTS PAYMENT PLAN OPTIONS
If you are not planning on paying tuition in full or using the two payment (at semester) payment plan through the front office next year, the FACTS payment program allows you to set up monthly payments. However, PLEASE NOTE that FACTS can no longer accept credit card payments beginning with the next school year. Changes to the credit card laws no longer allow them to keep credit card information on file for monthly drafts. They will only be able to accept bank draft (or ACH) payments for this process. If this change will adversely impact your payment plan, please reach out to Mr. Ahrens at [email protected] so that other arrangements may be considered.
As a reminder, the payment plans are as follows:
12-month plan: Payments start in May or June. FACTS contracts must be submitted in April.
11-month plan: Payments start in June or July. FACTS contracts must be submitted in May.
10-month plan: Payments start in July or August. FACTS contracts must be submitted in June.

Important Save The Date Announcement for Friday, April 27th
ACA has been encouraging young minds to Think, Reason, and Persuade from a distinctly Christian perspective for over 20 years! We are excited to continue building on a rich history of unique and even quirky traditions that make us ACA. We are bringing together ACA families, past, present, and even future, for an evening of music and fellowship. The focus of the evening will be the launching of the NEXT 20 years; or, in keeping with our musical theme, we are “Arranging A New Score!” So important is this event, that the Board of Governors and Administration have decided to make this the primary focus of this years fundraising efforts. With this in mind, we have decided to forego this years’ Annual Trivia Night. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but encourage you to set aside April 27 for an incredible evening with your ACA family. Watch for more information coming soon!
STEM FAMILY NIGHT
This Friday, March 2, is our STEM Family Night from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the ACA Great Room. Our 5th graders have been working really hard on their Science Fair projects which will be on display! There will also be several STEM Stations to visit. Plan to bring the whole family to this FREE science exploration evening!
SPIRIT WEAR WEEK
The 5th grade class is sponsoring a Spirit Wear Week March 5 - 9 for all grades as a fundraiser for their trip to the Hutchison, KS Cosmosphere in May.
Purchase your Spirit Wear wristband THIS WEEK before school in the Great Room (from Mrs. Woods) or at lunchtime (from Mrs. Bailey). Only $10 for the whole week or $5 for two days (M/W or T/TH). Thank you in advance for your support.
MARCH LUNCH ORDERS
The monthly lunch order form for March is attached below and is available in the school office. Please note that March 1st & 2nd were included on the February order form. If you are ordering for the month of March, please turn in your order form and payment by Friday, March 2nd. Students may still order in at the office window or in their first hour class (except Wednesday lunches must be ordered on Tuesday).
GRAMMAR SCHOOL SOCK HOP
The Seniors are sponsoring a Sock Hop for grades K through 6th on Friday, March 9th from 6:00 - 8:00 at Highland Park Christian Church. Tickets are on sale now in the office and they are $5 each. Hot dogs and fries, root beer floats and pie will be for sale, and there will be a hula hoop contest, limbo contest and a best dressed winner (think poodle skirts, pony tails, and saddle shoes). Event is open to all parents, siblings and grandparents of ACA K - 6th grade students. No limit on tickets. This should be a great family fun night!
SPRING BOOK FAIR
Our annual Scholastic Book Fair will be March 12 - 16th in the school lobby. We need several volunteers to make this a successful book fair! Holding a book fair enables ACA to earn books for our classrooms and our school library. If you are able to help us during the week of March 12 - 16, please sign up for the shifts you can work with the attached volunteer form. Questions? DVD’S & CD’S
The dvd’s and photo cd’s of ACA’s fall production of “A Christmas Carol” are now available in the school office. The cost is $20 each. We also have dvd’s of “The Man in the Bowler Hat”, which was premiered at Little Theater and was a joint effort by our Film Making class and our Performing Shakespeare class, available in the office for $15.
MOMS PRAYER TIME
Join a group of ACA moms to pray for our school, our kids, our teachers & administration, and our families. They will be meeting on Thursday mornings at 8:15 in room 104 (off of the Great Room across from the 2nd grade classroom). There are no commitments… just come when you are able to join them! If you arrive early (before 8:00) you can grab a cup of coffee in the school lobby!
COFFEE & FELLOWSHIP
Join us each morning when dropping off your child(ren) for school. Take an extra few minutes to park and start your day with some great fellowship as well as a great cup of Java Dave’s coffee. We have been enjoying these mornings with our teachers and parents and we would love to see you there. The coffee bar is open in the lobby between 7:30 - 8:00 a.m. each morning.
