Summer Arts
Welcome to summer arts 2024!
Summer Arts at ACA is open to all students in the Tulsa community and surrounding areas. Please refer to the descriptions below. Students register according to the grade they will be in for Fall 2024. Registration and payment can be completed below.
Week 1
June 3-7
Morning Classes
Puppet Camp I (grades 1-3): 9am-Noon
with Mrs. Toni Ahrens, $125 per camper
Campers complete the crafting of a personal puppet, learn skills of puppet performance, perform in a puppet theater for guests, and take their puppets home.
Ukulele Camp (grades 4 & up): 10:30-Noon
with Mrs. Kara Street, $125 (includes the cost of a ukulele)
Join us for ukulele camp this summer, and learn to play this fun stringed instrument! Each camper will get their own ukulele to play and keep! We will learn several songs on the ukulele and enjoy learning about the history of the instrument! This is a fun-filled summer camp to get kids strumming in a group and making music with others! Campers will showcase what we have learned in camp Luau on the final day of camp!
June 3-7
AFTERNOON CLASSES

Puppet Camp II (grades 4 & up): 12:30-3:30pm
with Mrs. Toni Ahrens, $125 per camper
Campers complete the crafting of a personal puppet, learn more advanced skills of puppet performance, perform in a puppet theater for guests, and take home their puppet.
Stagecraft (grades 8-12): 12:30-3:30pm
with Mr. Kirk Post, $125 per camper
Campers will learn the basics of set design while they help create the set and major properties for our production of 101 Dalmatians! Students should dress modestly, but wear clothing that is acceptable for painting and crafting.
Week 2
June 10-14, 9am-3pm
grades 4-10
Audition Workshop
Saturday, May 11: 9am-1pm
Parent Meeting: 1-1:30pm
Theatre Camp: 101 Dalmations!
June 10-14, 9am-3pm
$165 per camper for 1st child / $150 per camper for siblings
Following the Audition Workshop, the cast will be chosen. Then join us for a whirlwind week of fun at Summer Arts Theatre Camp! Camp begins June 10! Students from the Tulsa community are invited to see what Performing Arts at ACA is all about! From costumes to choreography, campers will learn it all in one week and debut their show on the last day of camp!
